The covering plate is configured to close or open the hair curling mechanism. When the covering plate is completely open, the hair curling mechanism is not covered by said covering plate.

The upper clamping arm and the lower clamping arm are set in a curved shape, the middle parts of the upper and lower clamping arms do not abut against each other to increase a large space for accommodating hair.
