  • Publication number: 20230393914
Abstract: A method and apparatus of a network device that allocates a shared memory buffer for an object is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the network device receives an allocation request for the shared memory buffer for the object. In addition, the network device allocates the shared memory buffer from shared memory of a network device, where the shared memory buffer is accessible by a writer and a plurality of readers. The network device further returns a writer pointer to the writer, where the writer pointer references a base address of the shared memory buffer. Furthermore, the network device stores the object in the shared memory buffer, wherein the writer accesses the shared memory using the writer pointer. The network device further shares the writer pointer with at least a first reader of the plurality of readers. The network device additionally translates the base address of the shared memory buffer to a reader pointer, where the reader pointer is expressed in a memory space of the first reader.

  • Publication number: 20230332864
Abstract: Disclosed techniques relate to fragment launching. In an example, a fragment launcher has a casing, a launch aperture and a detonation position. An inner profile of the casing tapers from the main body towards the fragment launch aperture and from the main body to the detonation position. A fragment is held within the launch aperture such that when in use an explosive charge can be initiated to launch the fragment from the launcher. The launcher is particularly suited to uses where there is a requirement to launch a fragment in a consistent and repeatable manner.

  • Patent number: 11717626
Abstract: A respiratory flow limitation detection device, which can include an airway pressure treatment generator, determines a flow limitation measure 506 based one or more shape indices for detecting partial obstruction and a measure of a patient's ventilation or respiratory duty cycle. The shape indices may be based on function(s) that ascertain the likelihood of the presence of M-shaped breathing patterns and/or chair-shaped breathing patterns. The measure of ventilation may be based on analysis of current and prior tidal volumes to detect a less than normal patient ventilation. The duty cycle measure may be a ratio of current and prior measures of inspiratory time to respiratory cycle time to detect an increase in the patient's inspiratory cycle time relative to the respiratory cycle time. A pressure setting based on the flow limitation may then be used to adjust the treatment pressure to ameliorate the patient's detected flow limitation condition.

  • Patent number: 11708259
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for inducing a substantially non-hazardous atmosphere encompassing a beverage container during filling, such as filling a small volume container with an alcohol product. A multi-tiered approach can be used to reduce the combustibility of the atmosphere encompassing the beverage container. For example, a ventilation module can be provided and configured to dilute vapors of the beverage liquid. Further, a chilling module can be provided and configured to reduce or maintain a reduced temperature of the beverage liquid. Further, a capture module can be provided and configured to dilute stray beverage liquid. The ventilation module, the chilling module, and the capture module can cooperate to define a non-hazardous zone encompassing the beverage container. This can allow non-hazardous rated electrical components to operate proximate and within the atmosphere associating the alcohol product during filling.

  • Patent number: 11666725
Abstract: A patient interface includes a shell with a central opening configured to receive the pressurized flow of air, a foam cushion, and an elastomeric support portion that is attached to the shell, supports the foam cushion, and forms at least part of a chamber together with the shell and the foam cushion. The elastomeric support portion includes a side wall that forms a continuous perimeter around the chamber and a resiliently flexible lip that supports the foam cushion and extends from the side wall toward an interior of the chamber. The resiliently flexible lip has an outer perimeter that is anchored to the side wall and an unsupported inner perimeter. The foam cushion overhangs the inner perimeter of the resiliently flexible lip, and the shell is more rigid than the elastomeric support portion. In addition, the foam cushion is configured to directly contact and engage a portion of the patient's skin in use.

  • Patent number: 11638763
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a nanoparticle based platform, and nanoallergens for identifying, evaluating and studying allergen mimotopes as multiple copies of a single mimotope or various combinations on the same particle. The nanoparticle is extremely versatile and allows multivalent binding to IgEs specific to a variety of mimotopes, simulating allergen proteins. Nanoparticles can include various molecular ratios of components. For example, the nanoallergens can include about 0.1-40% mimotope-lipid conjugate and about 60-99.9% lipid. The mimotope-lipid conjugate includes a mimotope, a first linker, and lipid molecule. Nanoallergens can be used in in vitro and in vivo applications to identify a specific patient's sensitivity to a set of epitopes and predict a symptomatic clinical response, identify allergen epitopes through blind screening peptide sequences from allergen protein, and in a clinical application similar to a scratch test.
