  • Publication number: 20240011852
Abstract: A tribometer and technique for determining torque at a physical interface of multiple rotating components. The tool and technique include aligning components about a rotational axis for independent rotation of each component. The components are in physical interface during the rotating with a resultant frictional torque. The torque may be measured by one or more torque meters during the rotating. This measured torque may be compared against an estimated torque for tool accuracy. Further, parameters such as load, temperature, component material, rotating rpm differentials and others may be varied to determine effect on measured frictional torque.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for image-based document search. Embodiments include receiving an image of a document and providing the image of the document as input to a machine learning model, where the machine learning model generates separate embeddings of a plurality of patches of the image of the document and the machine learning model generates an embedding of the image of the document based on the separate embeddings of the plurality of patches. Embodiments include determining a compact embedding of the image of the document based on applying a dimensionality reduction technique to the embedding of the image of the document generated by the machine learning model. Embodiments include performing a search for relevant documents based on the compact embedding of the image of the document. • Publication number: 20230260555
Abstract: A memory device includes clock signal generation circuitry, and first integrated level shifter and latch circuitry. The clock signal generation circuitry receives a first clock signal and an isolation signal, and generates a second clock signal based on the first clock signal and the isolation signal. The isolation signal corresponds to a power state of a power supply associated with the first clock signal. The first integrated level shifter and latch circuitry receives an input signal in a first power supply domain, and latches a value the input signal based on the second clock signal. Further, the first integrated level shifter and latch circuitry outputs, based on the latched value, an output signal in a second power supply domain different than the first power supply domain.

  • Patent number: 11720087
Abstract: A system receives operations data and determines operations indicator(s) from the operations data. An operator on a manufacturing line reports a downtime event via a human machine interface device. The system receives downtime event and uptime information. The system calculates an operations indicator, such as an overall equipment effectiveness indicator, from the downtime event and uptime information. A user interface of the system includes the operations indicator(s) and visualizations. Some visualizations include a timeline indicating downtime events and other operations events. Additional downtime and uptime information is received by the system in substantially real-time. The system dynamically calculates updated operations indicator(s) from the additional downtime and uptime information.

  • Patent number: 11709379
Abstract: A method of assembling an adjustable fluid-filled lens assembly comprising biaxially tensioning an elastomeric membrane to a surface tension of greater than 180 N/m, typically greater than 1000 N/m; thermally conditioning the tensioned membrane, e.g., for one hour at a temperature of about 80° C., to accelerate relaxation of the membrane; mounting the membrane to a peripheral support structure whilst maintaining the tension in the membrane; assembling the mounted membrane with one or more other components to form an enclosure with the membrane forming one wall of the enclosure; and thereafter filling the enclosure with a fluid. The membrane may be formed from an aromatic polyurethane, and the fluid may be a phenylated siloxane. In some embodiments, the membrane is able to hold a substantially constant surface tension of at least 180 N/m for a period of at least 12 months.
