  • Patent number: 12289611
Abstract: A method, apparatus, or computer-readable medium with instructions for beam management for radio frequency (RF) sensing at a wireless device. The wireless device performs a first beamsweep of an RF signal and measures a reflection of the RF signal based on the first beamsweep. The wireless device performs a second beamsweep of the RF signal, wherein the first beamsweep is based on a different parameter than the second beamsweep and measures the reflection of the RF signal based on the second beamsweep. The wireless device selects a beam for RF sensing based on the first beamsweep and the second beamsweep.

  • Patent number: 12284168
Abstract: A multifunction peripheral (MFP) includes user selectable functions that call home applications on the device that direct it to work cooperatively with cloud service providers. To avoid requiring users to login to each cloud service each time they use it, they are registered with an authorization server to establish and grant identity and authorization tokens. When a user logs in to an MFP, they are redirected to login to the authorization server which then sends tokens to the MFP identifying the user and their permissions and licenses. Home applications associated by the tokens are displayed for selection. Each time a home application using a cloud service is selected, a background application sends the user's session tokens with a service request to an associated cloud service resource server. The resource servers processes authenticated requests and return the result to the MFP which completes the selected home application function.

  • Patent number: 12225592
Abstract: Aspects are provided to support payloads for msgA transmission in a two-step random access (RACH) procedure by providing a one-to-many mapping arrangement between preambles and physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resource units (PRUs). A preamble is determined by the UE which is mapped to one or more groups of PRUs to support piggybacking of uplink control information (UCI), frequency hopping on PUSCH, and multiple-slot repetition for msgA transmissions. By piggybacking UCI to a payload in msgA, flexibility may be provided in the selection of MCS and waveform as well as resource allocation for demodulation reference signals (DMRS) and PUSCH in PRUs. Moreover, by allowing a payload to hop to different frequencies on PUSCH during the transmission of msgA, a gain in frequency diversity and interference averaging may be provided, and by enabling a payload to repeat across multiple slots in msgA transmission, coverage enhancement and/or reliability may be increased.
