  • Publication number: 20210124413
Abstract: A method of determining relative position of an extended reality mobile display device connected to receive display data from a host device involves determining (S31), by the extended reality mobile display device, a position and orientation of the extended reality mobile display device at a transmit time and transmitting (S32) a first signal to the host device at the transmit time. The extended reality mobile display device then receives (S35) at a receive time a second signal transmitted (S34) from the host device upon receipt (S33) of the first signal. The extended reality mobile display device determines (S36) a position and orientation of the extended reality mobile display device at the receive time and determines a difference (S37) in the position and orientation of the extended reality mobile display device between the transmit and receive times.

  • Patent number: 10960167
Abstract: Some embodiments provide for an inspiratory limb for a breathing circuit that includes a first segment that comprises a first heater wire circuit and a second segment that comprises a second heater wire circuit. The inspiratory limb can include an intermediate connector that includes a connection circuit that electrically couples the first heater wire circuit to the second heater wire circuit. The inspiratory limb can be configured to operate in two modes wherein, in a first mode, electrical power passes through the first electrical connection to provide power to the first heater wire circuit without providing power to the second heater wire circuit, and in a second mode, electrical power pass through the first electrical connection to provide power to both the first heater wire circuit and the second heater wire circuit.

  • Patent number: 10938925
Abstract: A method of delivering location-specific content by a content processing server is disclosed. A request for web content is received by the content processing server. A location of an originator of the received request for web content is identified. A local proxy server is selected based on the identified location of the originator of the received request for web content. The web content is requested via the selected local proxy server. Location-specific web content from the content provider is received via the selected local proxy server. • Patent number: 10911225
Abstract: An approach for full-path data encryption, where user virtualized computers (e.g., user VMs) are configured to communicate with other virtualized computers or VMs using IPsec protocol encryption standards. The user VMs may send a first encryption or authorization key to the other VMs, which the other VMs may use to authenticate the user VMs and encrypt and decrypt data stored to storage devices using a second encryption key. In some approaches, the other VMs may interpret or decrypt the data sent via IPsec and then perform data optimizations (e.g., compression, deduplication) on the data before decrypting/encrypting with the second key.

  • Publication number: 20210002966
Abstract: A roller tool 1 that can be connected into a string for deployment into an oil or gas well includes at least two rollers or wheels 10 located on each side of the roller tool 1, with axes of rotation that are perpendicular to the axis of the roller tool 1. The roller tool further includes at least two interconnecting tubular portions, where one tubular portion 41 comprises a mandrel 45 that connects to another tubular portion 42. An annular hub 20 is fitted over the mandrel 45 and the rollers 10 are connected onto the hub 20. The tubular portions 41, 42 comprise circumferential sleeve sections 56a, 56b that partially extend over the rollers 10 and resist detachment of the rollers 10 from the roller tool 1. The roller tool 1 can aid passage of a string through a well by holding the string away from the walls of the well and reducing frictional contact.

  • Patent number: 10809598
Abstract: An add-on lens assembly supporting an add-on lens for a camera includes a locking mechanism actuatable by the user in order to increase the attachment force between the lens and the camera. The add-on lens assembly may include a rotatable lock ring having a cam pin that navigates along a surface of a cam such that when the lock ring is rotated, the cam pin causes the cam to translate axially. Axial translation of the cam may compress a spring within the assembly and increase the attachment force between the lens assembly and the camera. The increased force between the add-on lens assembly and the camera may provide additional support for large or heavy assemblies.

  • Publication number: 20200225339
Abstract: Using a distance sensor, a set of distances to a target object is measured, a distance in the set being measured at a time. From the set of distances and corresponding times, a trajectory of the target object is predicted. Based on receiving a signal identifying a friendly device, a correlation of the trajectory with a trajectory of the friendly device is determined. Responsive to the trajectory being predicted to intercept a defined volume around the distance sensor and responsive to the correlation being above a threshold degree of correlation, the target object is classified as a threat. Responsive to the trajectory being predicted to intercept a defined volume around the distance sensor and responsive to the correlation being below a threshold degree of correlation, a threat level corresponding to the target object is identified based on the trajectory of the target object and trajectory of the friendly device.
