  • Publication number: 20230332729
Abstract: The invention relates to a spiral wrap formed of an extruded profile coiled along a helical path around an axis. The profile having a first section and a second section; the first section having a first lip directed towards the axis; and the second section having a second lip directed away from the axis. The first lip and the second lip are arranged such that one of the lips is always in contact with an adjacent coil such that the engagement of adjacent coils of the spiral wrap prevents gaps in protection from forming even when the spiral wrap is curved.

  • Patent number: 11775989
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments may provide a framework to implement an omnichannel relevance analysis system. In response to a request to obtain an omnichannel relevance for a product, the system identifies a set of relevancy attributes and domain priorities and obtains product data sets associated with a set of platforms through which the product is made available. Using these product data sets, the system generates an omnichannel relevance index to indicate a position of the product in relation to sets of other products made available within the set of platforms.

  • Publication number: 20230265587
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of a lyocell fiber (1) for the manufacture of a nonwoven fiber fleece (10, 100). To manufacture a thin nonwoven fiber fleece with sufficient mechanical properties, the use of a lyocell fiber is proposed, where the fiber (1) has a cross-sectional aspect ratio of at least 1.8. The invention further relates to a nonwoven fiber fleece (10, 100). In order to manufacture a thin nonwoven fiber fleece (10, 100) suitable for use as a battery separator, it is proposed, that the fiber fleece comprises at least two layers (11, 12) of fibrillated lyocell fibers (13), with the fibrillated lyocell fibers (13) having solid cores (14, 110) and fibrils (15) protruding from said cores (14), the fibers and fibrils (15) being intermingled to form the fiber fleece (10), embedding the solid cores (14) therein, whereby the solid cores (14, 110) of the fibrillated lyocell fibers (13) have an average cross-sectional aspect ratio k of at least 1.5.

  • Publication number: 20230263120
Abstract: A method to expedite the growth of the agave plant by growing the plant tissue from a cell culture in a laboratory utilize incubator cells that are taken from the leaf of an agave plant and grown in a medium containing all the nutrients required for the production of new cells and the maturation of those new cells. The cells are then exposed to photosynthetic active radiation and fed with extra carbon dioxide, causing the cells to undergo photosynthesis and form the sugars that are found in a naturally growing agave plant. These cultivated cells are given an optimum amount of light and carbon dioxide to promote an unexpected and substantially higher growth rate than heretofore achieved.

  • Patent number: 11690335
Abstract: A method of producing cannabinoids for use in medical treatments by growing cultured Cannabis sativa plant cells through tissue culture, the method of comprising the steps of: selecting Cannabis sativa leaf tissue for culture; and growing a tissue culture from the selected leaf tissue in a liquid based medium whilst controlling the light exposure of the tissue culture to control the cannabinoid content of the tissue culture. Control of the light exposure can enable the phytocannabinoid content of the grown tissue culture to be tailored to the use intended for the tissue culture. For example, the THC content of the tissue culture can be controlled to be maximised or minimized depending on the intended use. Use of tissue culture is beneficial as compared to prior art methods as it allows for genetic consistency and reduces the resources necessary to produce plant cells containing phytocannabinoids.
