  • Patent number: 5775159
Abstract: A method of manufacturing of an undercut deep-drawn workpiece from a sheet material including deforming a sheet material into a pot-shaped piece having a circular cross-section with a diameter, which decreases in a course of deformation, while retaining a flat circumferential rim flange, increasing a depth of the pot-shaped piece with formation of an outwardly cambered bottom substantially simultaneously with decreasing the diameter of the pot-shaped piece, forming, one after another, two opposite flat surface side walls on the pot-shaped piece, with bringing them into divergent, relative to each other, angular positions, while synchronously flattening the bottom of the pot-shaped piece, and forming two further opposite parallel flat surface side walls to obtain a substantially rectangular cross-section of the pot-shaped piece.

  • Patent number: 5643054
Abstract: A machine part includes a surface suitable for rolling contact and/or sliding contact on another machine pad and made by an at least two-stage honing process, with a first honing step effecting a surface texture exhibiting a plurality of peaks and a plurality of pits and defining a mean profile line, and a second honing step for removal of the peaks to a level of the mean profile line for forming a plateau-like tenure that is interrupted by crossing pits, whereby the depth of the pits from the first honing step is maintained. Subsequently, abrasive grain is pushed into the surface for creating a crater-like recess, thereby displacing material at random in horizontal and venial directions for at least partially closing the pits. Mounds created during material displacement and positioned above the mean profile line are removed through a subsequent polishing process.

  • Patent number: 5256103
Abstract: A ventilation arrangement for the interior of a motor vehicle, having at least a heating or air-conditioning unit. The ventilation arrangement has a fan for air exchange in the interior and a filter for the adsorption of odorous and/or harmful substances contained in the air stream. The filter is designed so that, for the widest possible spectrum of odorous and/or harmful substances, a filter effect is produced which is based on rapid adsorption of the odorous and harmful substances and a gradual desorption thereof with a long time delay. A high short-term concentration of the odorous and/or harmful substances is thus converted by the filter into an extremely low but, instead, long-lasting emission which, with sufficiently extensive dilution, remains below a preset odor threshold or nuisance threshold.

  • Patent number: 4651526
Abstract: A transmission casing wherein is inserted a flooded hydromotor has together with an annular space traversed by a forced flow a double function both as oil cooler and as receiver container of the externally situated pumps. Both the working substance flowing out from said hydromotor and the flushing oil that is conveyed past it are led together on intermediate ribs and vanes in a flow channel meanderingly passed about said hydromotor to the filling pump feed pipe. Intermediate ribs and vanes are connected or integral with the transmission casing that has many ribs and can be exposed to a cooling current directed as needed. Said annular space is spatially separated by stop plates from mechanical gear portions eventually situated in front, but is at the same time oil sump thereof by means of a connecting opening.
