  • Publication number: 20210222598
Abstract: A method for controlling a return valve of an exhaust system and to an exhaust system with a control unit which is configured to carry out the method. The method is based on the object of avoiding an overpressure in the line system for urea solution as a result of a reduction in the injection rate. The method includes the steps of determining whether one or more of the following states are present during the operation of the exhaust system: a) an injection rate per unit of time of urea solution of the dosing valve is less than or equal to a predefined injection limit, b) a pressure measured by the pressure sensor in the line system overshoots a predefined first upper pressure limit (P2). The return valve is opened for a first predefined opening duration (?t1) if states a) and b) are present and at least one of the states has already been present for at least a predefined period of time (?ta). The return valve is closed after the first predefined opening duration (?t1) has elapsed.

  • Patent number: 10883490
Abstract: A method for operating a device for dosed supply of a liquid, having a pump to deliver the liquid. The pump has an inlet and an outlet. An eccentric is arranged on the pump housing and a deformable diaphragm is arranged between a pump housing and the eccentric. The deformable diaphragm and the pump housing delimit a delivery path from the inlet to the outlet. The seal can be displaced along the delivery path by movement of the eccentric. A pressure sensor is connected to the outlet of the pump. A liquid is delivered by the pump. A time curve of the pressure at the outlet of the pump is monitored during delivery by the at least one pressure sensor. An angle position of the eccentric of the pump is detected using at least one characteristic feature of the time curve at the outlet.

  • Publication number: 20200286370
Abstract: A transportation threat detection system includes a communication module that receives an inertial event report from a reporting vehicle. The report includes (i) an indication of an inertial event from an inertial sensor at the reporting vehicle, and (ii) an indication of a geographic location associated with the event. The system also includes a fusion processor that associates the inertial event report with a potential transportation threat, consistent with the inertial event report and at the geographic location. The fusion processor generates a measure of support for the transportation threat potentially existing at the geographic location based on a participation rate generated using any additional inertial event reports received from respective additional reporting vehicles. The system also includes a reporting interface that renders output indicative of the potential transportation threat, wherein the output is made as a function of the generated measure of support.

  • Patent number: 10766685
Abstract: A box-type transport container has a box-type outer container with a base, four side walls and at least one lid. The lid is hinged on a side wall. Sheet-type vacuum insulation panels are arranged in the outer container to cover the surface of the side walls. At least one carrying opening, which can be gripped by hand in order to carry the transport box, is provided in each of two opposing, side walls. The material of the side wall is weakened above and to the side of the carrying opening, such that the material can be easily separated from the surrounding material of the side wall and together with the carrying opening can be folded out of the side wall. Alternatively, the vacuum insulation panels of the side wall are secured in their relative positions by at least one peripheral tensioning means.

  • Patent number: 10764316
Abstract: A malware detection system based on stored data that analyzes an electronic message for threats by comparing it to previously received messages in a message archive or to a contacts list. Threat protection rules may be generated dynamically based on the message and contacts history. A message that appears suspicious may be blocked, or the system may insert warnings to the receiver not to provide personal information without verifying the message. Threat checks may look for unknown senders, senders with identities that are similar to but not identical to previous senders or to known contacts, or senders that were added only recently as contacts. Links embedded in messages may be checked by comparing them to links previously received or to domain names of known contacts. The system may flag messages as potential threats if they contradict previous messages, or if they appear unusual compared to the patterns of previous messages.
