  • Patent number: 10643243
Abstract: Systems and related methods of providing promotions to consumers based on proximity to communication beacons are discussed herein. Some embodiments may provide for a system including a communication beacon and a central system. The communication beacon may be associated with a merchant and located at a merchant shop. Based on receiving consumer presence data from the communication beacon indicating that a consumer device and the communication beacon has formed a direct wireless connection, the server may be configured to provide merchant information, promotions, or other messages to the consumer device. In some embodiments, messages may be generated by the merchant and targeted to consumers based on consumer device location, consumer demographics, among other things. Furthermore, the server may provide consumer information to a merchant device to facilitate consumer service, point-of-sale, and seamless transactions and promotion redemptions.

  • Publication number: 20200125250
Abstract: Embodiments provide a computer-executed method, a computer system and non-transitory computer-readable media for facilitating consumer interaction with a consumer interface. The method includes displaying a representation of an item on a consumer interface rendered on a visual display of a computing device. The method also includes storing, on a non-transitory computer-readable medium: a predefined first association between a first compound consumer input and a first command such that receipt of the first compound consumer input at the consumer interface initiates the first command, and a predefined second association between a second compound consumer input and a second command such that receipt of the second compound consumer input at the consumer interface initiates the second command.

  • Patent number: 10528250
Abstract: Embodiments provide a computer-executed method, a computer system and non-transitory computer-readable media for facilitating consumer interaction with a promotion. The method includes transmitting computer-executable instructions to cause an impression of a promotion to be displayed on a consumer interface rendered on a visual display of a computing device. The method also includes receiving, from the computing device, an indication of a compound consumer input associated with a consumer and performed using the consumer interface. The method also includes determining that the compound consumer input corresponds to a command for performing an action associated with the promotion. The method further includes, based on a determination that the compound consumer input corresponds to the command, transmitting computer-executable instructions to initiate execution of the command associated with the promotion.

  • Publication number: 20190325582
Abstract: The invention relates generally to edge detection and presentation in thermal images. Infrared and visible light images comprising at least partially overlapping target scenes are analyzed. An edge detection process is performed on the visible light image to determine which pixels represent edges in the target scene. A display image is generated in which some pixels include infrared image data and in which pixels corresponding to edges in the visible light image include a predetermined color and do not include corresponding infrared image data to emphasize edges. Edge pixels in the display image can include exclusively the predetermined color, or in some examples, a blend of a predetermined color and visible light image data. Methods can include replacing one or the other of visible light edge pixels or corresponding infrared pixels with the predetermined color before combining the visible light and infrared image data to create a display image.

  • Publication number: 20190243537
Abstract: Embodiments provide a computer-executed method, a computing device, and computer program product for enabling indication of a relevance of an item. The method includes displaying a consumer interface on a visual display of a computing device associated with a consumer, the consumer interface rendering representations of one or more items. The method also includes receiving, at the computing device, an indication of consumer input with respect to at least one of the items. The method also includes, based on a determination that the consumer input corresponds to a relevance command, adjusting the display of the representations of the one or more items on the consumer interface. The method further includes, based on the relevance command, determining a relevance indication of a characteristic of the at least one item to the consumer.

  • Publication number: 20190141236
Abstract: Systems for guiding a user through a workflow routine can include an inspection tool, a user interface, memory, and a processor. The processor can provide instructions via the user interface to perform a workflow routine using the inspection tool and save acquiring inspection data to memory. Instructions can direct a user to which equipment to inspect and/or how to collect inspection data associated with one or more pieces of equipment. Systems can determine which equipment is available for inspection by the user, such as via image recognition or proximity detection, and instruct a user to acquire inspection data associated with such equipment. Workflow routine instructions can be provided to the user via various devices, such as an inspection tool, smartphone, or a tablet.

  • Publication number: 20170356956
Abstract: A system for measuring a device under test (DUT) includes a computing device and a measurement device that measures an electrical or physical parameter of the DUT. The computing device receives and stores measurement data in a DUT record associated with the DUT. The computing device further obtains a first image of the DUT, displays the first image as a reference image with a first reference frame, receives a live image of the DUT from an image sensor, and displays the live image with a second reference frame that corresponds to the first reference frame. A cursor on the live image moves according to movement of the image sensor relative to the DUT. A second image of the DUT is obtained, wherein the second image is substantially aligned with the reference image based on an alignment of the cursor with the second reference frame. The second image is stored in the DUT record.

  • Patent number: 9726715
Abstract: Systems and techniques for obtaining and maintaining maintenance records for various assets are described. In one embodiment, a computing device may be wirelessly coupled to a measurement device when the computing device is placed in proximity with the computing device. Upon measuring one or more parameters of a device under test (DUT), the measurement device may provide the measured parameters to the computing device in the form of measurement data. In some embodiments, the computing device associates the measured parameters with the corresponding DUT from which the measurements were obtained and provides the associated measured parameter to, for example, a service provider for future access. In another embodiment, the measurement device itself is configured to associate the measurement parameters with the DUT and provide the associated measurement parameters to the service provider.
