  • Patent number: 6464168
Abstract: A landing gear system for an aircraft comprising a pair of legs, each having a wheel at a distal end, a pivot point associated with each leg for allowing each leg to follow an arc-shaped path between a deployed position and a retracted position, one of the legs passing in front of the other while moving from the deployed position to the retracted position, and a linking assembly disposed between the legs for ensuring that the legs move from the deployed position to the retracted position in unison.

  • Publication number: 20020103869
Abstract: A method and apparatus that generate business documents and specifications compliant with modeled business components. The business concepts are modeled in Unified Modeling Language (UML). The UML models are analyzed and modeled as Hierarchical Structure Definition (HSD). Documents and document specifications can then be generated in HSD and plain language formats. Documents can also be compared against generated Document Type Definitions to determine compliance of the documents against UML models.

  • Patent number: 4934743
Abstract: An assembly for forming a mechanical connection to an object, such as a tube within a hydraulic system, comprising a transversely heat-shrinkable shape memory alloy collar having an axially facing surface, a ring having an axially facing surface and a device for retaining the ring and the collar coaxially with respect to one another. In use, the collar is caused to shrink so that it engages the external surface of the tube. Force can be applied axially to the object through the collar by means of the ring.
