  • Patent number: 10127601
Abstract: Mesh node modules are associated with movable and fixed items in a building such as a grocery store or factory floor to maintain a database of the locations of those items as they are processed through the establishment. The items form a mesh network and relay location information through access points, when in range, to control/monitoring computers.

  • Patent number: 10075791
Abstract: A networked speaker system communicates using Li-Fi. The LEDs implementing the Li-Fi may also have modes in which they are used to map the walls of a room in which the speakers are located, detect the locations of speakers in the room, and detect and classify listeners in the room. Based on this, waveform analysis may be applied to input audio to establish equalization and delays that are optimal for the room geometry, speaker locations, and listener locations.

  • Patent number: 10003905
Abstract: Left and right ear HRTF coefficients are determined for an end user, one each for each of a plurality of head orientations, and provided to the end user on a portable recording medium, or via the Internet, etc. The user can then implement the files on audio played on the user's headphones, with the file corresponding to the user's head orientation being selected as the user moves his head to ensure the sound as perceived by the user remains emanating from a fixed external location. The user's personal HRTF may be cascaded with the HRTF of a user-designated location, such as a famous theater, to model the sound as though it were being played in the theater.

  • Patent number: 9900748
Abstract: Mesh node modules are associated with stadium seats and companion nodes such as fan CE devices can dynamically form a mesh network which uploads information of the nodes to a network. Sporting information may be downloaded to a fan's CE device or services provided to the fan while in a seat based on information sent through the node modules in the stadium.

  • Patent number: 9560449
Abstract: A user is guided through various setup routines to optimize speaker parameters and/or positions and/or frequency assignations for the particular space in which the speaker system is located and intended to be used. This can be done using an application downloaded from a cloud server to a smart phone or tablet computer, which is then employed by the user to optimize speaker configurations for various speaker locations in the room.
