  • Publication number: 20240329203
Abstract: Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) device, which has a capability to enable position and speed detection with high signal-to-noise ratio. It is achieved by interrogating many targets/directions simultaneously. The device utilizes a ball lens and an array of light emitting and collecting elements distributed on and coupled to a ball lens; these elements could be gratings connected with a light processing chip with an array of waveguides; alternatively, it could be an array of VCSELs and light detector elements distributed on and coupled to a ball lens; and yet, another alternative is a spatial light modulators (SLMs) for frequency modulation for the transmitted beams. The distance and speed of a target is determined using FMCW signal processing scheme with signal frequency and intensity multiplexing.

  • Patent number: 12103052
Abstract: Improved processing systems and methods are provided for wet and dry processing of a semiconductor wafer. Provided is an enclosed chamber for processing a semiconductor wafer within a processing space and a drainage system for directing processing fluids out of the processing space. The enclosed chamber includes a top plate and a bottom plate, which physically confine the processing fluids within a relatively small, enclosed processing space. This forces the processing fluids to flow radially across the wafer surface(s) without the need to rotate the wafer. The drainage system contains a conduit that is downstream from the processing space and configured to retain a portion of a processing fluid dispensed within the processing space. The portion retained within the conduit provides a pressure resistance against the processing fluid(s) dispensed within the processing space to improve wet and dry processing of the wafer surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20240319841
Abstract: A computer system displays a view of a first portion of a three-dimensional environment and a first virtual object corresponding to a first computer-generated experience. While displaying the view of the first portion of the three-dimensional environment, the computer system detects a first input directed to the first virtual object meeting first criteria, and in response, starts a preview of a first portion of the first computer-generated experience. While displaying the preview, the computer system detects movement of the computer system relative to the surrounding environment, and in response displays a view of a second portion of the three-dimensional environment and a second portion of the preview of the first computer-generated experience. While displaying a portion of the preview of the first computer-generated experience, the computer system detects a second input meeting second criteria, and in response, displays a view of the first computer-generated experience.

  • Publication number: 20240299510
Abstract: The present disclosure describes the grafting of epitope residues from human PCSK9 to non-human PCSK9 or PCSK9 structural homologs and elimination of 9-mers oligopeptides that are found in human protein to reduce self-targeting response. Anti-genicity of the epitope-scaffold constructs was demonstrated toward anti-human PCSK9 antibodies. similar to wild type human PCSK9. It was shown that disclosed PCSK9 immunogens could significantly reduce LDL and cholesterol levels in immunized mice.

  • Publication number: 20240285749
Abstract: Vaccines that elicit broadly protective anti-influenza antibodies. Some vaccines comprise nanoparticles that display HA trimers from influenza virus on their surface. The nanoparticles are fusion proteins comprising a monomeric subunit (e.g., ferritin) joined to the stem region of an influenza HA protein. The fusion proteins self-assemble to form the HA-displaying nanoparticles. The vaccines comprise only the stem region of an influenza HA protein joined to a trimerization domain. Also provided are fusion proteins, and nucleic acid molecules encoding such proteins, and assays using nanoparticles of the invention to detect anti-influenza antibodies.

  • Patent number: 12060768
Abstract: Pressure-activated valve assemblies and methods to remotely activate a valve are disclosed. A pressure-activated valve assembly includes a valve, a latch mechanism configured to shift the valve to an open position, and a pressure-activated indexing mechanism that is initially engaged to the latch mechanism. The pressure-activated indexing mechanism is initially in an unarmed mode. After the pressure-activated indexing mechanism is in an armed mode, applying at least one cycle of threshold pressure to the pressure-activated indexing mechanism disengages the latch mechanism to shift the valve to the open position. The pressure-activated valve assembly also includes a remote-activated downhole system configured to receive an activation pressure signal having a signature profile, and in response to receiving the activation pressure signal, arm the pressure-activated indexing mechanism.
