  • Publication number: 20260139969
Abstract: A method for training a classifier for map verification. A plurality of surroundings data sets, each of which represents respective surroundings of motor vehicles during respective trips of the motor vehicles through the same geographic region, are used to create a digital map of the geographic region, wherein in particular information or data resulting from the mapping pipeline are used to train the classifier or for map verification. A method for map verification, a device, a computer program, and a machine-readable storage medium are also described.

  • Publication number: 20260108004
Abstract: An identification-storing headgear is designed with an identification holder for storing a wearer's ID card. In one aspect, the headgear is disclosed having a crown with an inner surface and a sweatband secured to the inner surface. The crown also has an identification slit and an identification viewing aperture. The identification holder is positioned behind the identification viewing aperture between the inner surface and the sweatband. A front portion of the identification holder is positioned against the inner surface of the crown, and a back portion of the identification holder is secured to the front portion to form an identification compartment, which opens at the identification slit of the crown.

  • Patent number: 9522418
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and device for producing metal sections having two profile flanges arranged opposite one another and having flange inner faces that are to be kept apart from each other by a closely toleranced final chamber dimension. In order to adapt the chamber dimension from a starting chamber dimension K0 to a desired final chamber dimension K1, the metal section is passed through the device, which forms working gaps between an inner working roll pair and outer support rolls. The working rolls that form the inner working roll pair roll over each other in order to brace the forming forces exerted on the working roll pair from the flange inner faces against each other.

  • Patent number: 9028753
Abstract: A motorized multi-cuvette rotatable carousel positions cuvettes around a stationary axis. A rotatable cuvette holder plate positions cuvettes in the carousel. The cuvette holder plate has spring tensioning elements that hold cuvettes in a precise position within the cuvette holder plate. A cuvette positioning arm is attached to the rotatable carousel assembly. The positioning arm geometrically positions the cuvette for depth-resolved laser-induced fluorescence testing.

  • Patent number: 8306783
Abstract: In a method for determining faulty components in a system having a plurality of interacting components, lists of potentially faulty components are prepared as a function of different diagnosis algorithms implemented independently of each other, and an error value is assigned to each potentially faulty component. The error values for at least one selection of components of the system are linked to form an error score value for a particular potentially faulty component.

  • Patent number: 8060873
Abstract: A method for remote programming of a program-controlled device, and a system having an interface to receive program data and a legitimization, as well as a remotely programmable, program-controlled device, which includes a processor and a program memory, are provided. In the method, program data are remotely transmitted from a control station to the interface and buffer-stored there in a buffer store. Subsequently, a legitimization is transmitted from the control station to the interface, and from there to the program-controlled device. The device checks the legitimization and imports the program data from the buffer store if the legitimization check is positive.
