Abstract: An advertising device formed of sheet material having a first and second portion, one of which includes a predetermined visual indicia formed thereon, and the other portion having a non-visible or latent image or indicia formed therein; whereby the latter is rendered visible by coating the latent image with a developing ink. This disclosure further contemplates a developing device for developing the latent or non-visible image or indicia, which includes a support arranged to receive the sheet of material so that the portion having non-visible or latent image is predeterminedly positioned at a developing station formed on the support adjacent to a source of a developing ink supply formed thereon.

Abstract: A packaging and advertising device comprising a blank of readily foldable material having a transverse frangible tear line for dividing the blank into a header portion and a connected foldable box forming portion. The box forming portion is reversely folded upon itself in the knockdown position whereby the header portion and connected reversely folded box portion define an essentially flat insert which can be readily inserted between the pages of a periodical.The box forming portion is further prescored and/or die cut so that the same can be readily formed into a sealable box which can be readily separated from its header portion and used as a mailer or package for mailing various articles.

Abstract: A displacement compensating module is disclosed wherein a blocking article, such as a polyimide tape, is disposed between an epoxy composition and the back surface of a substrate and between the epoxy composition and the inner surface of a cap for blocking the movement of the epoxy composition into a gap area during the manufacture of the module. An electronic module comprises a substrate, an integrated circuit chip disposed on the substrate, a cap disposed over and enclosing the chip and the substrate, a heat dissipator disposed between the cap and the chip for carrying away the heat dissipated by the chip, and an epoxy composition secured to the back surface of the substrate for sealing the module, and specifically, the chip within the module from harmful external influences. The boundary of a gap is defined by the edge of the substrate and the inner surface of the cap.
