Abstract: An aircraft-floor element comprising a first cladding element configure to be swung from a first position to a second position. In the first position, the first cladding element is arranged parallel to a main plane of the aircraft-floor element and on a side of the aircraft-floor element which is directed towards a passenger cabin. In the second position, the first cladding is arranged at an angle to the main plane of the aircraft-floor element, wherein it forms a cladding for a cargo space. An aircraft zone having an aircraft-floor element and an aircraft having such an aircraft zone are also disclosed.

The compartments are directly above each other and separated by an intermediate base pivotable at least in sections into the upper compartment. Items of luggage can be placed onto a lower horizontal pivoting edge and pushed into the lower compartment. Adjacent to a lower delimitation of the upper compartment, when the intermediate base is not pivoted, an upper horizontal pivoting edge is formed, onto which items of luggage can be placed and pushed into the upper compartment. The upper compartment has an upper opening edge adjoined by an auxiliary surface extending over the upper compartment, is at an angle in a range of 10° to 50° to the intermediate base and, as the distance from the upper delimitation increases, encloses an increasing distance from the intermediate base.

Abstract: A facility for determining a housing index value for a subject geographic region for a subject period in time is described. For each home in a set of homes within the subject geographic region, the facility determines home attribute values; applies a first valuation model and second valuation for the subject geographic region to the home attributes to obtain estimated values of the home at the beginning and end of the subject period, respectively; and determines an appreciation rate for the home on the basis of the estimated values of the home at the beginning and end of the subject period. The facility combines the appreciation rates to obtain an aggregate appreciation rate for the subject period, and combines the aggregate appreciation rate for the period with a housing index value for a prior period to obtain the housing index value for the subject geographic region and subject period.

The at least one inverter may be electrically connected to an alternating current (AC) source via the first electrical connector of the electric distribution module. Abstract: The invention provides compositions and systems comprising a carrier and an element. The carrier is a network of polymers insoluble in water comprising phenolic hydroxyl moieties, aliphatic hydroxyl moieties or a combination thereof. An association between the carrier and the element is labile in response to biological demand and the lability of the association in the presence of water is less than the lability of the association in response to biological demand. Also provided are methods of making such compositions and methods for delivering the element to an organism.

An electric drive motor having stator-side motor coils, a unit mechanism which is driven by the electric drive motor, and a motor electronics circuit board are each arranged within the housing. The motor electronics circuit board includes motor electronics having control and power electronics which control the electric drive motor, and at least one housing ground connection which is electrically conductively connected directly to the housing via a housing ground element. A punch comb arrangement has at least two plug pins. A plug connection connects the motor electronics circuit board to an engine control unit. Abstract: A method of permanently joining composite parts made from thermoplastic material includes providing a first composite part and a second composite part, both made from thermoplastic material, wherein an orifice is provided in at least one of the composite parts, positioning both composite parts such that a portion of the composite part which includes the orifice is adjacent to a portion of the other composite part, injecting melted thermoplastic material through the orifice to contact the first and the second composite part in a contact area, whereby surfaces of the first and the second composite part in that contact area melt together; and solidifying the thermoplastic material in the orifice and in the contact area to permanently join the first composite part to the second composite part.

Abstract: A mounting rail arrangement for an aircraft floor, floor structure and aircraft having the same. To allow full floor structural decoupling for monuments and/or cabin attendant seats, a mounting rail arrangement includes two mounting rails having mounting holes distributed along their longitudinal direction. A mounting bolt is inserted into the mounting holes and an attachment bolt for fixing a cabin monument and/or a cabin attendant seat is inserted into the mounting bolt. As a result, the cabin monument and/or cabin attendant seat may be installed on at different locations and/or with different orientations using all kinds of configurations enabled by the mounting holes.
