  • Patent number: 10264856
Abstract: A belt buckle for a vehicle seat belt. The belt buckle includes a frame in which at least one locking element adapted to lock a plug-in tongue insertable into the belt buckle and an ejection element adapted to eject the plug-in tongue are provided. Each of the ejection element and the locking element is adapted to adopt a locked position and a home position. The locking element is adjacent to a web of the ejection element in the home position and thus blocked in its home position. The front end of the web has a ramp-like bearing surface against which the locking element slidingly engages.

  • Publication number: 20180187998
Abstract: An archery release configured to eliminate, or at least minimize, vibrations and/or noise generated when a drawn bowstring is released from a pre-shoot position. The archery release includes a substrate subassembly and an overmolding material bonded to each other. The overmolding material is configured to absorb and eliminate, or at least minimize the vibrations and/or noise. The archery release also includes a trigger, a release mechanism, and a latching assembly extending into a hollow interior of a handle of the archery release. Within the handle, the latching assembly is operably coupled with the trigger and with the release mechanism. The vibrations and/or noise is eliminated, or at least minimized, by placing the overmolding material at locations whereat one or more components of the trigger, the latching assembly, and the release mechanism strike or engage the overmolding material instead of the substrate subassembly.

  • Patent number: 9402446
Abstract: A belt buckle (10) for a seat belt includes a buckle housing (16), a locking mechanism for locking a plug-in tongue inserted in the buckle housing (16), a release button (22) which is movable in a first direction relative to the buckle housing (16) for unlocking the plug-in tongue, and a safety mechanism for preventing automatic displacement of the release button (22) in the first direction. The safety mechanism includes a mass body (36) movable in the first direction relative to the buckle housing (16) and a movably supported coupling lever (24) including an axis of rotation which is stationary relative to the buckle housing (16). The coupling lever (24) is coupled to the mass body (36) and to the release button (22) so that, upon acceleration of the belt buckle (10) in a second direction opposed to the first direction, it transmits an inertia force acting on the mass body (36) in the first direction to the release button (22) in the opposite second direction.
