Publication number: 20250107842Abstract: An energy source is offset from an elongate probe axis with an extension. The amount of offset of the energy source can be controlled by varying an amount of offset of the extension. The energy source rotated and translated at the offset distance to resect tissue. In some embodiments, the probe is configured to receive a second treatment probe comprising a second energy source, in which the second energy source is rotated and translated relative to the first treatment probe, which can improve positional accuracy and stability. The energy source and the extension can be coupled to a linkage to offset the energy source, and to translate and rotate the energy source with varying amounts of offset. The linkage can be coupled to a processor and one or more of the energy source moved in accordance with a treatment profile.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 21, 2024Publication date: April 3, 2025Applicant: PROCEPT BioRobotics CorporationInventors: Surag MANTRI, Kevin Patrick STAID, James Luis BADIA, Friedrich HO, Scott D. Publication number: 20250106303Abstract: A system architecture can be used to facilitate communication among applications that are native and/or non-native to an application environment. The system architecture can include a first application environment executed on a client-side computing device. The first application environment can execute software applications that are native thereto. The first application environment can further execute software applications that are native thereto, but which software applications themselves comprise second application environments of types different from the first application environment, and which software applications can therefore execute additional software applications that are non-native to the first application environment. The first application environment can further execute a computation engine that is configured to store and execute instructions received from the first software application, the second software application, or both.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 5, 2024Publication date: March 27, 2025Inventors: Peter Wilczynski, Christopher Hammett, Lloyd Ho, Sharon Hao
