  • Patent number: 11757811
Abstract: A system and method for managing electronic messaging accounts for an organization having a regulatory requirement to retain business-related electronic messages is provided. The method comprises executing instructions on a processor that for a first user account for a first user associated to the organization, define a first message space accessible through electronic devices in communication with the server, where the first message space accommodates peer-to-peer administration by users in the organization and provides facilities for: identifying an owner for the first retaining and preserving messages based on retention parameters associated with the organization; and creating a message channel in the first message space for messages between one or more users in the organization and one or more additional organizations. The privileges follow an organization policy for the organization and provide the first user with privileges in managing the first message space reflecting the organization policy.

  • Publication number: 20230112657
Abstract: This invention allows an end user (“client”) to access one of any number of devices via a server (or cluster of server instances). Each device may be in a different physical location and different location on the Internet or other network. Each device might also be behind a router or firewall that makes direct access to the device impossible. Clients may optionally be authenticated to ensure they are authorized to access a particular device, and devices may also be authenticated to verify their identity to prevent spoofing. Access to a device is achieved by tunneling network requests over a persistent connection that the device establishes when it first comes online.

  • Patent number: 11418464
Abstract: A system and method of managing electronic messaging accounts for an organization is provided. The method comprises executing instructions on a processor at a server that: for a first user account for a first user associated to the organization, define a message space accessible through electronic devices in communication with the server. The message space accommodates peer-to-peer administration by users in the organization. The message space also provides facilities for: identifying an owner for the message space; assigning owner privileges for the owner; selectively identifying the first user account as the owner for the message space; and creating a message channel in the message space for messages between users in the organization and users in a second organization. In the method, the owner privileges follow an organization policy for the organization and provide the first user with additional privileges in managing the message space reflecting the organization policy.

  • Publication number: 20210311915
Abstract: A method for extracting document elements for use in generating and populating message templates includes importing, by an analysis engine executing on a computing device, a first document including computer code. The analysis engine generates a hierarchical data structure including the computer code and identifies at least one candidate element of the hierarchical data structure for extraction. An extraction engine executing on the computing device automatically extracts a first portion of the computer code associated with the at least one candidate. The extraction engine associates the extracted first portion of the computer code and the at least one candidate element with a first template. A template builder receives a request for generation of a second document using the first template. The template builder populates a copy of the first template with the extracted first portion of the computer code and generates the second document from the template.

  • Patent number: 10728187
Abstract: A system and method of managing electronic messaging accounts for a user is provided. The user has a first account for a first message space for a first entity and a second account for a second message space. The method comprises: providing a first message service that facilitates creating a first message for the first account for processing by the first message space providing private electronic conversations; providing a second message service that facilitates creating a second message for the second account for processing by the second message space providing regulated electronic conversations; and receiving an access request to the second message service and if the access request is a first access to the second message service, federating the second account to the first account and recording the federation in an account link. Entitlements to use the second message service may be established and controlled by an organization defining that second message service.

  • Patent number: 9726576
Abstract: The invention concerns an asset monitoring system (10) having a monitoring unit 8 and a plurality of sensors (4) onboard the asset. The sensors (4) are arranged to measure a plurality of operational variables for the asset in use and the monitoring unit (8) is arranged to receive operational variable measurements output from the sensors. The monitoring unit is also arranged to determine a current value of a sensor characteristic (ZA1; ZB1) for each sensor and to compare the current sensor characteristic value with a predetermined sensor characteristic value in order to determine automatically whether a change of one or more sensors has occurred between instances of operation.
