  • Patent number: 12224882
Abstract: This invention allows an end user (“client”) to access one of any number of devices via a server (or cluster of server instances). Each device may be in a different physical location and different location on the Internet or other network. Each device might also be behind a router or firewall that makes direct access to the device impossible. Clients may optionally be authenticated to ensure they are authorized to access a particular device, and devices may also be authenticated to verify their identity to prevent spoofing. Access to a device is achieved by tunneling network requests over a persistent connection that the device establishes when it first comes online.

  • Patent number: 11757811
Abstract: A system and method for managing electronic messaging accounts for an organization having a regulatory requirement to retain business-related electronic messages is provided. The method comprises executing instructions on a processor that for a first user account for a first user associated to the organization, define a first message space accessible through electronic devices in communication with the server, where the first message space accommodates peer-to-peer administration by users in the organization and provides facilities for: identifying an owner for the first retaining and preserving messages based on retention parameters associated with the organization; and creating a message channel in the first message space for messages between one or more users in the organization and one or more additional organizations. The privileges follow an organization policy for the organization and provide the first user with privileges in managing the first message space reflecting the organization policy.

  • Patent number: 11418464
Abstract: A system and method of managing electronic messaging accounts for an organization is provided. The method comprises executing instructions on a processor at a server that: for a first user account for a first user associated to the organization, define a message space accessible through electronic devices in communication with the server. The message space accommodates peer-to-peer administration by users in the organization. The message space also provides facilities for: identifying an owner for the message space; assigning owner privileges for the owner; selectively identifying the first user account as the owner for the message space; and creating a message channel in the message space for messages between users in the organization and users in a second organization. In the method, the owner privileges follow an organization policy for the organization and provide the first user with additional privileges in managing the message space reflecting the organization policy.

  • Patent number: 10728187
Abstract: A system and method of managing electronic messaging accounts for a user is provided. The user has a first account for a first message space for a first entity and a second account for a second message space. The method comprises: providing a first message service that facilitates creating a first message for the first account for processing by the first message space providing private electronic conversations; providing a second message service that facilitates creating a second message for the second account for processing by the second message space providing regulated electronic conversations; and receiving an access request to the second message service and if the access request is a first access to the second message service, federating the second account to the first account and recording the federation in an account link. Entitlements to use the second message service may be established and controlled by an organization defining that second message service.

  • Publication number: 20080066932
Abstract: A central hub includes a plate and a sleeve attached to the plate and adapted to receive a sprinkler head. The sleeve may be a telescoping sleeve. By providing a central hub with the plate and sleeve, the central hub provides increased stability and versatility to the sprinkler head. The plate provides additional stability and support to the sleeve, and thus the sprinkler head, rendering the combination better able to operate effectively when high fluid pressures are utilized. The central hub is generally attached to a support structure by some mechanism, such as a leg. The addition of the plate adds versatility by increasing the number and variety of legs that can be used to attach the central hub to the support structure.

  • Publication number: 20070088248
Abstract: The invention provides devices for the disruption of one or more layers of skin and methods of their use to administer therapeutic agents, e.g., antigens or drugs. The devices are designed to disrupt a defined area of skin. The defined area can approximate the area that a patch or other suitable vehicle for therapeutic agent, e.g., drug or vaccine, delivery is designed to contact. Exemplary devices employ a mask to define the area to be disrupted. Other devices disrupt a defined area by rotating in place. For devices that employ a mask that is secured to the skin, the invention provides methods of disrupting the stratum corneum by first securing the mask to the skin and then disrupting the skin. For rotating devices, the disrupting member is simply placed against the skin and actuated to effect disruption.

  • Publication number: 20070066831
Abstract: The invention provides a high-yield process for the preparation of letrozole having a high purity, without the need for removal of the 4-[1-(1,3,4-triazolyl)methyl]benzonitrile impurity at the intermediate stage. The invention also provides a process for the synthesis of letrozole in which formation of the impurity 4-[1-(1,3,4-triazolyl)methyl]benzonitrile during the first stage is minimized. In the process, a 4-(halomethyl)benzonitrile is reacted with a salt of 1H-1,2,4-triazole, reducing the formation of the impurity. Preferably, the preparation is conducted as a one-pot process.
