    Abstract: A control system for controlling extraction of landfill gas, comprising: at least one sensor configured to measure one or more characteristics of landfill gas; at least one flow control mechanism disposed in well piping and configured to control flow of the landfill gas through the well piping; and at least one processor configured to: obtain a measured concentration of a first gas in landfill gas; determine whether the measured concentration of the first gas is either less than a first threshold concentration or greater than a second threshold concentration; when it is determined that the measured concentration is less than the first threshold concentration, control the at least one flow control mechanism to reduce flow rate of landfill gas; and when it is determined that the concentration is greater than the second threshold concentration, control the at least one flow control mechanism to increase the flow rate of landfill gas.

The third-party server may be configured to receive a request for a credential from a named entity device for the named entity device to communicate with an application programming interface (API). The API may be associated with a domain. The third-party server may obtain the credential from the API. The third-party server may encrypt the credential with a public key corresponding to the named entity device to generate an encrypted credential. The DNS may be configured to receive the encrypted credential and publish a DNS record at a namespace of the DNS, the DNS record containing the encrypted credential for the named entity device to retrieve the credential. The named entity device may decrypt the encrypted credential by the private key stored at the device.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing updating of disk images supporting serverless code execution and controlled deployment of updated disk images. A disk image can be defined as a set of layers that represent a file system include code of a serverless function and other data used by the code. A function owner can designate one layer as containing software or other data subject to update. When a new version of the layer is obtained at a serverless compute system, the system can generate a new disk image containing the updated layer. The system can then gradually transition the function to the new disk image, by dividing calls to the function among two versions of the function—one using the prior disk image, and one using the new disk image. Performance data gained from the new version of the function can be used to control the gradual transition.

The recursive DNS traffic includes recursive DNS (rDNS) requests originating from the cloud environment and responses to those requests received from DNS resolvers. This collected data is then analyzed to identify potential threats to the monitored cloud environment. The collected data may be analyzed to identify potential sources of threats and to identify one or more portions of the cloud environment that are the targets of the threats. The analysis may trigger alerts to be generated, actions to be performed (e.g., protective measures), reports to be generated, patterns to be recognized, etc.

The server may determine that the particular named entity device belongs to one of the roles and filter the list based on the contextual metadata. The server may generate an interaction control list that includes the filtered list and transmit the interaction control list to the policy consuming device as a response to the authorization query. The interaction control list causes the policy consuming device to react to the message based on the interaction control list.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling movement of a mudflap hanger arm, to reliably return from a deflected position to a resting position, while providing improved manufacturability and reduced corrosion and wear through the use of guidance surfaces on a mounting plate and a frame seat that form the interface between the hanger arm and a vehicle frame. When the hanger arm pivots about an axis on one side of the mounting plate and frame seat, guidance surfaces on the opposite side are in contact or near-contact, preventing the mounting plate and frame seat from being laterally displaced or rotated with respect to each other. The improved mounting plate and frame seat can reduce or eliminate manufacturing operations such as welding, coating, etc., reducing the cost of the apparatus, while enhancing manufacturability and operation.
