  • Patent number: 7715264
Abstract: In one embodiment, an electronic device comprises control circuitry. The control circuitry disables termination circuitry coupled to one or more input/output (I/O) signals of the electronic device during at least a portion of a relatively low frequency operation which causes insubstantial signal reflections at the I/O signals. The control circuitry re-enables the termination circuitry prior to the electronic device performing a relatively high frequency operation after completion of the low frequency operation, the high frequency operation causing substantial signal reflections at the I/O signals. The electronic device is a memory device in one embodiment. This way, the termination circuitry may be disabled during at least a portion of a refresh operation performed by the memory device and re-enabled prior to the memory device resuming normal operation (i.e., reads and writes) after completion of the refresh operation.

The flexible substrate includes a central portion arranged about a central focal point and a plurality of finger-like projections extending radially outwardly from the central portion. At least one reference electrode is disposed on the central portion of the flexible substrate. A medical electrode is disposed on at least one of the finger-like projections, preferably, each of the finger-like projections. Connector, in electrical communication with the medical electrode, is adapted to connect to an electronic system. The flexible substrate defines at least two reference apertures for accommodating a body structure. The apertures permit the conductor to interface with the electrical system from either side of patient tissue.

  • Publication number: 20090149731
Abstract: Disclosed is an ECG electrode lead wire connector which provides improved electrical and mechanical coupling of the ECG electrode press stud to the lead wire, provides enhanced ergonomics to the clinician, and may alleviate patient discomfort associated with the attachment and removal of ECG leads. The connector may be engaged and disengaged with little or no force imparted to the patient or the ECG pad, which significantly minimizes the risk of inadvertent dislodgement of the pad. In one embodiment the disclosed connector provides a thumb cam lever which affirmatively engages the press stud to the connector, and provides tactile feedback to the clinician that the connector is properly engaged. In other embodiments, the connector provides a pushbutton to enable the clinician to easily engage and disengage the connector from the ECG stud. The disclosed connectors may also decrease clinician fatigue, and may provide more reliable ECG results.

  • Patent number: 7519572
Abstract: Systems and methods for efficiently obtaining a summary from and locating data in a log file allow a user to efficiently obtain summary information and locate specific data records even in large log files. The system includes a configuration program, a log writing program, and a log reading program. The configuration program allows the user to control the duration of monitoring and the frequency of summary record creation by the log writing program. The log writing program writes data records, summary records, and summary information to a log file in response to monitored events. The log reading program retrieves summary records and data records from the log file using summary information in response to user requests.

  • Publication number: 20090088932
Abstract: An agricultural working vehicle has a plurality of working assemblies, at least one control unit for influencing the setting parameters of the working assemblies, a memory unit, and at least one display unit, and it is configured such that even an untrained operator may optimize the setting parameters of the working assemblies in a rapid, reliable manner. An expected change in the function and/or the working result of individual working assemblies or a plurality of working assemblies is depicted in the display unit in a manner that depends on how an operator influences individual setting parameters of the working assemblies.

  • Patent number: 7502678
Abstract: For controlling an agricultural machine system while it works a territory, which a route (R) is created for the machine system, which includes working tracks (FN) along which the machine system is driven while the territory (S) is being worked, and which includes headland tracks (FV), along which the machine system is driven when it travels from one working track (FN) to the next working track (FN) to be driven along. The machine system automatically processes a sequence of headland working steps at the end of one working track (FN) and/or while a subsequent headland track (FV) is being driven along, and/or at the beginning of a subsequent working track (FN). The sequence of headland working steps is updated and carried out dynamically depending on the current position of the machine system and depending on the next working track (FN) to be driven along. A related automatic control system for controlling an agricultural machine system is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20090037059
Abstract: The invention relates to a control system for agricultural working vehicles with at least two sensor systems which generate sensor signals (A, B), wherein the sensor signals (A, B) are vehicle-dependent or dependent on the crop characteristics or a combination of both. The object of this invention is to develop a control system for agricultural working vehicles in such a manner that a suitable fusion of the sensor signals (A, B) of the sensor systems is achieved, in particular. This object is achieved according to the invention in that at least one first and at least one second sensor signal processing algorithm (I,II,III,IV,V) is provided in the control system, and in that a selection is made as to which sensor signal processing algorithm (I,II,III,IV,V) is to be used as a function of at least one characteristic parameter (P).
