  • Patent number: 11943883
Abstract: A magnetic bistable hinge system includes a hinge bracket, first and second magnets, and a rotatable member. The first magnet may be coupled to the hinge bracket and be configured to rotate about an axis of the hinge bracket from a first bistable position to a second bistable position. When the south pole of the first magnet is at a first angle relative to the south pole of the second magnet, the first magnet and the second magnets are in the first bistable position and the rotatable member is in a closed position relative to the hinge bracket. When the south pole of the first magnet is at a second angle relative to the south pole of the second magnet, the first and second magnets are at the second bistable position, and the rotatable member is rotated to an open position relative to the hinge bracket.

  • Patent number: 11930781
Abstract: A milking system includes a milking device, a milk line, and a sampling and analysis device for the milk that includes a control unit, a tape mover to move and unwind a tape wound on a tape reel and with a base material with reagent pads, that detect a substance in the sample, and a dosing device to provide the sample onto a reagent pad, and a sensor to detect radiation from said reagent pad, and to analyse the detected radiation to indicate a presence or concentration of said substance. The reagent pad is facing downward during provision of the sample. In this way, the chance of excess liquid falling from the reagent, and possibly onto a camera, is reduced. Smaller reagent pads may be used, it reduces the chance of supplied liquid spilling over to a neighbouring reagent pad, the measures preventing this spilling may be limited, and it is easier to suck away excess fluid.

  • Patent number: 11925168
Abstract: A milking system includes a milking device with a milking control, a milk line, and a sampling/analysis device. The milking control controls the milking based on said analysis. The sampling/analysis device includes a reagent carrier, including a tape with a first side with a reagent pad that detects the presence of a substance in the milk sample and a second side, a dosing device to provide a droplet of said sample onto the reagent pad, a source for emitting source radiation onto the reagent pad, and a sensor to detect response radiation emitted by the reagent pad, and to analyse the detected response radiation to indicate the presence or concentration of said substance. The first side faces away from the sensor during analysing by the sensor. By viewing “from below”, the observed reaction in the reagent is cleaner, and suffers less from artefacts, and the camera will stay cleaner.

  • Patent number: 11919163
Abstract: The invention describes a robot (5) and/or robot controller (17) and a method for validation of programmed workflow sequences or teaching programs (20) of a robot (5) preferably with a robot controller (17), wherein the robot (5) is preferably mounted on or next to a processing machine, in particular an injection molding machine (4), and serves for the extraction, handling, manipulation or further processing of injection-molded parts (3) which have just been produced. The travel parameters, equipment features and functionalities of the physical robot (5) are stored in a configuration file (27) on the control side. The robot controller (17) creates a virtual robot model (21) from these stored data. For validation of a workflow sequence, the robot controller (17) uses the current teaching program (20) in the robot controller (17) whereby the visualization of the workflow sequence is displayed directly on an output unit of the robot controller (17).

  • Patent number: 11924068
Abstract: Examples of an apparatus and method for provisioning a service are described. Descriptors are described that represent the service. These are accessed and used to determine a reference required to implement the service. The reference indicates a type of entity and an entity to be passed to a function. The descriptor for the service is instantiated to obtain an instance of the service. This includes obtaining an instance of the type of entity indicated by the reference.

  • Patent number: 11902361
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for routing provider queues. A message routing system receives a request to transmit a message to a destination device and selects a first routing provider from a plurality of routing providers that each have a separate message queue of a plurality of message queues, wherein the first routing provider is selected based on one or more characteristics of each of the plurality of routing providers. The message routing system adds the message into a first message queue designated to the first routing provider, and causes the message to be dequeued from the first message queue to the first routing provider for delivery to the destination device.

  • Patent number: 11877118
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a magnetic system within a case for an electronic accessory. The case may include a housing portion and a lid coupled to the housing portion. Within the housing portion may be a housing magnet. The housing magnet may be oriented such that the magnetic field of the housing magnet is oriented transverse to a longitudinal axis of the case. The housing magnet may have a size and strength to magnetically couple the electronic accessory within a cavity of the housing. A hinge magnet may be located along an axis of rotation of the lid with respect to the housing. The hinge magnet and housing magnet may magnetically interact to form a bistable magnetic hinge. Thus, the one housing magnet may be large enough and have a strong enough magnetic field to perform various functions.

  • Publication number: 20240002538
Abstract: Herein a modular and efficient method for cloning multigene plasmids containing only a single cloning step without the use of preliminary single-gene vectors is reported. In the first step, PCR-produced DNAblocks carrying genes for different antibody chains are ligated with the respective adaptors, which serve as connectors of the different DNAblocks. In the second step, the PCR-produced fragments of the first step are assembled in the correct arrangement via the unique recombination sites located at one end of each backbone, DNAblock and adaptor fragment. This new strategy results in a modular and efficient method, which allows direct cloning of expression cassettes into the respective backbone without intermediate cloning steps and enable fast cloning of variable gene configurations of diverse antibody formats. This new cloning method according to the current invention provides considerable advantages in terms of time, work labor and costs.
