Patent number: 11956338Abstract: A computing system may identify packets received by a network device from a host located in a first network and may generate log entries corresponding to the packets received by the network device. The computing system may identify packets transmitted by the network device to a host located in a second network and may generate log entries corresponding to the packets transmitted by the network device. Utilizing the log entries corresponding to the packets received by the network device and the log entries corresponding to the packets transmitted by the network device, the computing system may correlate the packets transmitted by the network device with the packets received by the network device.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 2023Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: Centripetal Networks, LLCInventors: David K. Ahn, Peter P. Geremia, Pierre Mallett, III, Sean Moore, Robert T. Perry

Publication number: 20240109567Abstract: A computer system generates output representing one or more conditions of a linear asset, such as visual output representing both the linear asset and the conditions of the linear asset. The visual output representing the conditions may be displayed adjacent to the linear asset at positions corresponding to the locations of those conditions in the linear asset. The visual output may be generated and displayed in a compact manner, such as by displaying the visual output representing some linearly-overlapping conditions in different rows than each other, in order to stack that visual output over each other (e.g., vertically), while grouping some visual output representing linearly-overlapping conditions together within the same row as each other, and while displaying visual output representing non-linearly-overlapping conditions as separate (e.g., noncontiguous) visual output within the same row as each other.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2022Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Peter Moore, Jeffery B. Damrell

Publication number: 20240109566Abstract: An automated system measures a plurality of parameters representing conditions of a linear asset while traversing the asset, thereby generating a plurality of data channels representing measurements of the plurality of parameters along the asset. The linear asset may be traversed a plurality of times to obtain additional data within the data channels. For each data channel, measurements obtained from multiple traversals are aligned with each other. Measurements in the data channels are aligned with locations along the linear asset. The resulting aligned data channels may be used to identify locations along the linear asset requiring replacement and/or repair.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2022Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Peter Moore, Jeffery B. Publication number: 20240089235Abstract: A packet-filtering network appliance such as a threat intelligence gateway (TIG) protects TCP/IP networks from Internet threats by enforcing certain policies on in-transit packets that are crossing network boundaries. The policies are composed of packet filtering rules derived from cyber threat intelligence (CTI). Logs of rule-matching packets and their associated flows are sent to cyberanalysis applications located at security operations centers (SOCs) and operated by cyberanalysts. Some cyber threats/attacks, or incidents, are composed of many different flows occurring at a very high rate, which generates a flood of logs that may overwhelm computer, storage, network, and cyberanalysis resources, thereby compromising cyber defenses.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 8, 2023Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: John Fenton, Peter Geremia, Richard Goodwin, Sean Moore, Vincent Mutolo, Jess P. Parnell, Jonathan R. Rogers

Publication number: 20240084873Abstract: An end-stop control valve can progressively add end-of-stroke damping resistance to complement the damping force provided by a main piston in a damper tube. The end-stop control valve may include a piston that selectively engages with a catch piston, both of which are longitudinally movable within the damper tube. To reduce bypass around the piston, a piston band wrapped at least partially around the piston may engage with a sidewall of the catch piston just prior to engagement of the catch piston and the piston, although at least some hydraulic fluid can flow through a pathway of the piston band. A spring disc that moves with the piston may also engage with the catch piston just prior to engagement between the catch piston and the piston. The spring disc may elastically deform to contribute end-of-stroke resistance leading up to engagement of the piston and the catch piston.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 21, 2022Publication date: March 14, 2024Applicants: Thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America Inc., thyssenkrupp AGInventors: Peter KROPCZYNSKI, Jayson MOORE

Publication number: 20240084870Abstract: An end-stop control valve can progressively add end-of-stroke damping resistance to complement the damping force provided by a main piston in a damper tube. The end-stop control valve may include a piston that is secured on a piston rod and selectively engages a catch piston, both of which are longitudinally movable within the damper tube. As the piston approaches the catch piston, an annular pocket of hydraulic fluid is created longitudinally and radially between the piston and the catch piston. As the piston continues to approach the catch piston, a cross-sectional area through which hydraulic fluid exits the pocket decreases, thereby gradually increasing the resistance of the end-stop control valve. In addition, a spring disc secured on the piston rod may contact a valve seat on the catch piston and provide resistance by elastically deforming in a longitudinal direction before the contact surfaces of the piston and catch piston engage.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 21, 2022Publication date: March 14, 2024Applicants: Thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America Inc., thyssenkrupp AGInventors: Peter KROPCZYNSKI, Jayson MOORE, Thomas MCGUIRE

Patent number: 11925556Abstract: A delivery device for a collapsible prosthetic heart valve includes an inner shaft, an outer shaft, and a distal sheath. The distal sheath may be disposed distal to the outer shaft and about a portion of the inner shaft to form a compartment with the inner shaft. The compartment may be sized to receive the prosthetic heart valve. The inner shaft and the distal sheath may be movable relative to one another. A spine may extend along the outer shaft, the spine biasing the outer shaft so that the outer shaft tends to bend in a pre-determined direction.Type: GrantFiled: October 7, 2021Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: St. Jude Medical, Cardiology Division, Inc.Inventors: Brandon Moore, Daniel J. Klima, Kristopher Henry Vietmeier, Jay Reimer, Peter J. Ness, Ryan Finn, Jeffrey Paul LaPlante, Michael Shane Morrissey

Patent number: 11595715Abstract: In some embodiments, a method receives a message that identifies an asset being viewed on a video service at a timestamp. The message is associated with a profile identifier and a plurality of messages are received for the profile identifier while using the video service. The method determines a channel identifier for a channel in which the asset is offered during the timestamp and determines whether a channel change occurred based on the channel identifier and a prior channel identifier determined from a prior message in the plurality of messages. When the channel change has occurred, the method stores the channel identifier and timestamp for the profile identifier in a data structure, wherein a list of channels is generated by querying the data structure to determine a set of channel identifiers and timestamps for the profile identifier.Type: GrantFiled: April 28, 2020Date of Patent: February 28, 2023Assignee: HULU, LLCInventors: Mckay Salisbury, Peter Moore, Karthik Prasanna, Xiaoming Sun, Tong Yang, Srivardhan Jalan, Arkin Yetis
