  • Publication number: 20090193963
Abstract: A joint between a suppressor and a barrel of a firearm. The joint includes an adapter that is secured to the muzzle of the barrel and that receives the suppressor. A connection element is arranged at the rear end part of the suppressor and fits the forward end part of the adapter. The connection element has a disc-shaped forward end part and a tubular rear end part that serves for fitting the forward end part of the adapter. A tube section is coaxially attached to the connection element with a forward end part and in contact with the forward end part of the adapter with a rear end part in the mounted position of the suppressor. The joint provide for improved gas sealing and aligning of suppressor and barrel.

  • Patent number: 7342889
Abstract: A switching means and method where a number of devices exchange data on a data bus. Each device has at least one data port and at least one of the devices has a plurality of data ports. The data ports may have different data rates. An arbitration takes into account availability or congestion of the ports before allowing data transport from device to device. The devices communicate directly over a cross bar.

  • Publication number: 20070224673
Abstract: The present invention relates to isolated proteases of the RP-II type and variants of RP-II proteases exhibiting improved properties in comparison to the parent RP-II protease, DNA constructs and vectors coding for the expression of said proteases and variants, host cells capable of expressing the proteases and variants from the DNA constructs, as well as a method of producing them by cultivating said host cells. The proteases may advantageously be used as constituents in detergent compositions and additives, optionally in combination with other enzymes such as proteases, lipases, cellulases, amylases, peroxidases or oxidases.

  • Publication number: 20050147983
Abstract: Isolated polypeptides are disclosed selected from the group consisting of: (a) polypeptides comprising an amino acid sequence which has at least 90% identity with a sequence of a mature polypeptide comprised in the group of SEQ ID NO: 26 to SEQ ID NO:50; (b) polypeptides which are encoded a nucleotide sequence which hybridize under high stringency conditions with a polynucleotide probe selected from the group consisting of (i) the complementary strand to a nucleotide sequence selected from the group of regions of SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 25 encoding a mature polypeptide.

  • Publication number: 20050055747
Abstract: The present invention relates to proteases of high specific activity homologous to proteases derived from Nocardiopsis, and the production thereof by the wild-type, and in recombinant host cells including transgenic plants and non-human transgenic animals. The proteases are effective in animal feed, and detergents. Characteristic structural features of relevance for the specific activity of these proteases of peptidase family S2A or S1E are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6734750
Abstract: A surface mount crossover component comprising first and second conductor lines electrically isolated from one another by an interposed dielectric layer and capacitively isolated from one another by an interposed ground plane layer. Current flowing through the crossover component via one of the conductor lines encounters no substantial interference from current flowing through the other one of the conductor lines.

  • Publication number: 20030217324
Abstract: A switch chip where the parts taking up the most space on the die are provided with a redundancy in number so that a malfunctioning or weak element may be circumvented or routed around so that the chip may be fully functional even though one of the elements is malfunctioning. Means are provided for facilitating communication between the ports of the switch, the functioning elements and a common bus for transferring data between the elements and ports. The malfunctioning or redundant element may be rendered inactive by removing power or a clocking signal thereto. Manners of configuring and testing the chip are described as well as the use of the chip for providing lower functionality configurations.
