    Abstract: Downtime resulting from converting a software program from a source system to a target system, is forecast, explored, and optimized. A benchmark for a practice conversion test run (including a downtime component) is received as a first input and displayed for exploration. A second input is received comprising a statistic stored in a conversion database and reflecting a prior actual software conversion process run. The benchmark and the statistic are processed with reference to an expert rule set, to generate an optimized result comprising an updated benchmark having a changed downtime component. The updated benchmark including the changed downtime component, is displayed. Processing may occur in conjunction with further input comprising an acceptance of a generated recommendation, and/or changing a data volume of the practice conversion test run. Embodiments may feed back to the conversion database, statistics resulting from a formal software conversion run conducted according to the optimized result.

    Abstract: High beam headlight that can be produced with a small installation length with high efficiency and also provide effective low-cost manufacturability are described. For this purpose, a light source array having a plurality of light sources is combined with a honeycomb condenser. A collimator connected between the honeycomb condenser and the light source array illuminates the honeycomb condenser with collimated light of the plurality of light sources of the light source array. The arrangement of the components is such that the collimated light from a first light source leads to crosstalk-free irradiation of the honeycomb condenser and illumination of a first far-field segment. For each of the at least one second light source of the light source array, the collimated light of the respective second light source leads to irradiation of the honeycomb condenser with channel crosstalk and an illumination of a second far-field segment oriented obliquely with the first far-field segment.

At least some channels of the multi-channel optics are arranged along at least one curve which is similar to at least one elongated image feature of the overall image, so that a two-dimension anisotropic out-of-focus behavior of each projected image point is obtained. In this way, a large depth of focus range can be combined with relatively high projection brightness without having to accept losses with respect to the focused illustration of image features that are to be projected with sufficient focus.
