  • Patent number: 9241059
Abstract: A system includes a rejection module in a phone configured to receive calls over a network and a remote rejection announcement server (RAS) configured to receive calls over the network. The rejection module is configured to generate at least a portion of an incoming call user interface (UI) on the phone. The UI indicates incoming call signalling, associated with an incoming call from a caller, over a call signalling path in the network. One or more rejection options is provided for selection by a caller. Rejection reason data is generated based on selecting one of the rejection options. The rejection reason data is sent using a rejection reason path separate from the call signalling path. The remote RAS is configured to receive the incoming call from the caller, receive the rejection reason data over the rejection reason path, and generate an audio/video message based on the rejection reason data.

  • Publication number: 20150379809
Abstract: An electronic gaming machine comprises a display for displaying game symbols for playing a first game of chance, and an electronic game controller for controlling the display of the game symbols on the display. In response to a trigger event in the first game, a second game of chance is displayed, where the appearance of one or more special symbols causes the award of one or more tokens associated with one or more token values. At the end of the second game, an accumulated token value is determined and if it is equal to a predetermined number, a plurality of third games of chance is displayed and is selectable by the player. The third games displayed depend on the accumulated token value. A gaming method is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20150313487
Abstract: An implantable device for controlling electrical conditions of body tissue. A feedback sense electrode and a compensation electrode are positioned proximal to the tissue to make electrical contact with the tissue. A feedback amplifier is referenced to ground, and takes as an input a feedback signal from the feedback sense electrode. The output of the feedback amplifier is connected to the compensation electrode. The feedback amplifier thus drives the neural tissue via the compensation electrode in a feedback arrangement which seeks to drive the feedback signal to ground, or other desired electrical value.

  • Patent number: 9109951
Abstract: A sample cell can be designed to minimize excess gas volume. Described features can be advantageous in reducing an amount of gas required to flow through the sample cell during spectroscopic measurements, and in reducing a time (e.g. a total volume of gas) required to flush the cell between sampling events. In some examples, contours of the inners surfaces of the sample cell that contact the contained gas can be shaped, dimensioned, etc. such that a maximum clearance distance is provided between the inner surfaces at one or more locations. Systems, methods, and articles, etc. are described.
