Publication number: 20150058831Abstract: A system, and method for dynamically creating web applications from data is described. Simple data is transformed into a declarative application data model that is then parsed by a server and compiled into a functional web application. Application functionality is partly determined by rules applied to web application objects in response to user actions. These rules are triggered by various cues, including user actions and relationships among objects in the web applications. A web application is considered an n-dimensional problem space, and relationships among application objects can be modeled using set theory. The status of a particular relationship among objects and user actions can trigger specific application behavior. Additionally application behavior can be triggered in other ways, like conditions in arbitrary scripts or combinations of multiple triggers combined using logical connectives.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 22, 2013Publication date: February 26, 2015Inventor: Peter WARREN

Patent number: 8228159Abstract: A resistor, fabricating method, and thermal sensor material for resistors that incorporate high Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (TCR) values and low resistivity for better sensitivity in infrared imaging applications are disclosed. Amorphous oxide thin films, preferably oxides of vanadium (VOx), were deposited on thermally grown silicon dioxide by direct current (DC) magnetron co-sputtering of noble metals (gold and platinum) in a controlled argon/oxygen atmosphere. The ideal conditions for preparing an amorphous vanadium oxide/noble metal thin film are identified. TCR and resistivity results showed that the additions of gold (Au) and platinum (Pt) into VOx reduced the resistivity. However, only gold (Au) was found to improve TCR value. Reducing the amount of oxygen in the thin film, further improved the ratio between TCR and resistivity. Infrared detection and imaging devices can be greatly improved with a “drop-in” amorphous vanadium oxide/noble metal thin film of the present invention.Type: GrantFiled: October 17, 2008Date of Patent: July 24, 2012Assignee: University of Central Florida Research Foundation, Inc.Inventors: Kevin Robert Coffey, Vu Huynh Lam, Edward Dein, Andrew Peter Warren, Glenn Boreman, Guy V.
