    Abstract: A pumping unit having a pump chamber with a rotor mounted in a rotatable manner within the chamber. The pumping chamber is formed by a circumferential wall and two end walls. The circumferential wall is formed on an annular collar of a pump part and has on its inner surface a track on which sealing bodies of a rotor roll. To avoid deformation of the pump part by hydraulic forces or by pressing-in forces, ribs are arranged on the outer surface of the circumferential wall which extend away from the pump chamber. A shoulder is arranged on the side of the end wall which is directed away from the pump chamber. The shoulder is connected by a press fit to the pump housing and has thin walls so that pressing forces do not result in any deformation to the end wall of the pump chamber.

A control unit is operatively connected to the energization componentry and includes an electronic analyzer operatively connected to a second plurality of the transducers for performing electronic 3D volumetric data acquisition and imaging (which includes determining three-dimensional shapes) of internal tissue structures of the patient by analyzing signals generated by the second plurality of the transducers in response to second pressure waves produced at the internal tissue structures in response to the first pressure waves.

When a loopback frame is detected, a loopback logic routes the identified loopback frame onto the loopback path and then to the receive path. The rerouted loopback frame may then be received by a host or an embedded client from the receive path.

The invention has significant advantages over other synthetic aperture imaging techniques and conventional imaging techniques by supporting higher resolution, larger volumes and/or shorter acquisition times than comparative techniques, using similar system hardware complexity.

    Abstract: Known pumping devices have a connection lid, a connection cap slipped over the connection lid, a hollow chamber formed between the connection lid and the connection cap, and electrical connections that extend through the connection cap into the hollow chamber. It is disadvantageous that when fuels containing water are being pumped, such as ethanol, corrosion can occur at the electrical connections and at the uninsulated cable segments that are exposed to fuel near the electrical connections, for instance at the electrical coils or flexible cables of the carbon brushes, and in the final analysis this leads to an interruption in the electrical contact and thus to failure of the pumping device. In the electrical device of the invention, corrosion of the electrical connections and of the electrical components adjoining them upstream and downstream is avoided entirely or at least greatly diminished. According to the invention, the electrical connections are each provided in separate chambers of the hollow chamber.
