  • Publication number: 20040110605
Abstract: The present invention relates to an interactive boxing trainer which includes a main body, a driving unit, a control unit and a pair of boxing gloves with a respective signal transmitter. The main body contains a longitudinal slide rail, a lateral slide rail and a punched body. The punched body is driven by the driving unit and movable on the longitudinal slide rail and the lateral slide rail. Moreover, the control unit is in connection with a plurality of signal receivers provided at the upper and lower part of the main body so as to receive signals sent by the signal transmitters on the boxing gloves. Therefore, the position, speed and travelling path of the boxing gloves can be detected and processed by the control unit which then commands the driving unit to move the punched body away from the approaching punching glove.

  • Publication number: 20040106503
Abstract: The present invention relates to a rear safety foot rest of a treadmill. The treadmill includes a main frame, a running bed, a front support unit and a rear support unit. Moreover, an electronic console and two handles are disposed on the main frame, while a running belt is wrapped around the running bed for an in-place rotation. In addition, the running bed is provided with a support unit coupled with a rear roller while a rear safety foot rest is fixed to the support unit. Consequently, when the tensity and the tightness of the running belt is adjusted by an adjusting spindle, the support unit and the running belt will be synchronically shifted with the rear roller so as to maintain the proper clearance between the rear safety foot rest and the running belt.

  • Patent number: 6733422
Abstract: The present invention relates to a hidden roller of a treadmill. A hidden roller set is pivotably connected at the bottom end of both hollow support arms by means of a pivot, respectively. As a result, the hidden roller sets can be received inside the hollow support arms when the treadmill base is placed in operational state, thereby avoiding an unexpected sliding shift. To the contrary, the hidden roller sets can be taken out when the treadmill base is folded up in storage position. Thus, the rollers are in contact with the ground and work with the fixed type roller set at the rear end of the base frame. Accordingly, the treadmill can be smoothly moved.

  • Patent number: 6723028
Abstract: The present invention relates to a rocker arm of a treadmill including a main frame, a running bed, a front support bar and a rear support bar. Moreover, an electronic console and two handles disposed on the main frame, while a running belt is wrapped around the running bed for an in-place rotation. In addition, the main frame has a set of rocker arms which can be grabbed by the user and swung back and forth. The set of rocker arms has the same relative structural design, each of which includes a base rotation bar and a rocking arm with a handgrip. Meanwhile, one end of the base rotation bar is hingedly attached to a pivot on the main frame, while the other end is pivotably attached to the end of the rocking arm. Furthermore, a spiral shape spring part is interposed between said base rotation bar and the bottom of said running bed, thereby providing said rocking arms with the necessary resistance.

  • Publication number: 20040072656
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electric treadmill in which the tread base neighboring upon the running belt and based upon the central reference point is provided with sensing lines for acceleration, sensing lines for deceleration both of which are arranged one after the other. When the runner touches the fixed sensing position by light wave or acoustic wave, a CPU located within the electric console gives a command according to the sensing position to accelerate or decelerate the motor such that an immediate control of the rotational speed of the running belt is achieved. In addition, a sensing line for stop can be disposed behind the decelerating sensing line. When the operator continues to be shifted forwards, thereby contacting with the sensing line for stop, CPU gives a command to stop the motor immediately. Thus, the safety of the operator can be more ensured.

  • Publication number: 20040033862
Abstract: The present invention relates to a control console automatically planning a personal exercise program in accordance with the physical condition measured through the whole exercise session. The control console is in connection with a heartbeat detector for any fitness equipment. A microprocessor is fitted within the control console and used to record the related change and the interactive relationship of the heartbeat value under exercise parameters of distance, speed, duration and slope during the whole exercise session whenever the operator uses the electric treadmill. Therefore, the current physical state of the certain operator can be exactly detected so as to automatically plan an optimal exercise program according to the personal physical state. In addition, this program will be saved and used for next time when the operator uses the electric treadmill again. Meanwhile, the current physical condition will be measured again so as to renew another optimal exercise program for the certain operator.

  • Patent number: 6685599
Abstract: The present invention relates to a front cover plate for an electric treadmill which includes an upright frame, a base frame, a front supporting let and a rear supporting leg. A console is mounted on the upright frame, and a handrail is fitted to either side of the upright frame. A continuous belt extends longitudinally around a base frame. In addition, a bottom cover plate is pivotably connected to connecting rods at both sides of the front end of the treadmill by means of a first screw set. Besides, a front cover plate is pivotably connected to the front end of the base frame by a second screw set. The front cover plate is covered by the bottom cover plate. Accordingly, the transmission system of the motor at the bottom of the base frame can be hidden by both cover plates. Meanwhile, foreign objects can be prevented from entering into the front end of the treadmill. Therefore, the transmission system of the motor can be protected from damage.

  • Publication number: 20030207735
Abstract: The present invention relates to a control console automatically planning a personal exercise program in accordance with the measured value of the cardiopulmonary condition and comprising a cardiopulmonary condition sensor which is installed in a body-building device. Besides, the control console is fitted with a microprocessor which automatically plans an optimal exercise program for the operator after receiving the cardiopulmonary condition data measured by the cardiopulmonary condition sensor. After input of personal data of the body weight and height, the microprocessor will calculate the difference between the real body weight and the standard weight. Accordingly, an optimal exercise program for a certain operator can be automatically decided additionally in taking the measured value of the cardiopulmonary condition into account.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an electronic watch for sports apparatus in which the international standard weight and heartbeat reference data are saved. After input of personal data of the body weight and height, the microprocessor will calculate the difference between the real body weight and the corresponding standard weight. Thereafter, the built-in program decides an optimal exercise mode in accordance with the weight difference. Then, the exerciser is activated to execute the result. In addition, the age and the sex can be given in order for the microprocessor to calculate an optimal exercise heartbeat range in taking the international standard weight and heartbeat reference data and the difference between the real body weight and the corresponding standard weight into account. Thereafter, the built-in program decides an optimal exercise mode in accordance with the optimal exercise heartbeat range. Then, the exerciser is activated to execute the result.
