  • Publication number: 20250142355
Abstract: Optimizing beamforming overhead and improving coverage in a radio access network in a wireless communications system (WCS) is disclosed. Herein, a radio node(s) is configured to radiate multiple radio frequency (RF) beams in a coverage area. Notably, the RF beams can intercept a ground since the radio node(s) is mounted above the ground (e.g., on a ceiling) and facing downward toward the ground. As a result, some of the radiated energy may be wasted to degrade coverage and performance in the coverage area. In this regard, in embodiments disclosed herein, multiple reflector devices (passive and/or active) are provided in proximity to the radio node(s) to intercept the RF beams radiated from the radio node(s) and redirect the intercepted RF beams in parallel to the ground. By redirecting the RF beams horizontally, it is possible to reduce energy waste and enhance beamforming coverage in the radio access network.

  • Publication number: 20250139649
Abstract: An artificial intelligence (AI) system for use by a business to process multiple channels of user feedback data. User experience feedback data is provided via multiple channels—including structured feedback in the form of surveys, and unstructured and unsolicited feedback provided by people who wish to provide ad hoc feedback. The unstructured feedback may be from social media posts, calls to a service center, emails, and other sources. The feedback is aggregated as text data in a data pool. A natural language processing machine learning system is used to analyze the feedback and extract the meaning in human-understandable terms. Clustering techniques are used to identify commonalities in the feedback data even when issues are found in different data channels using different terminology. The commonalities are analyzed to identify actionable insights which address the underlying issues. Labeled sample data is used to perform supervised learning of the AI system.

  • Publication number: 20250141903
Abstract: According to the present disclosure, network security systems (e.g., network security algorithms) may uniquely identify an underlying algorithm and configuration used to produce domain names. For instance, network security techniques described herein may consider a collection of fully-qualified domain names (FQDNs) (e.g., taken from related network traffic data) and produce a value that can serve to uniquely identify the underlying generating algorithm and configuration used to produce the collection of FQDNs. In some examples, such may include implementation of statistical techniques to capture characteristic information about the amount of randomness, length, and distribution of characters in the collection of FQDNs. In some aspects, values of the characteristic information are adjusted based on a determined set of precision parameters. In some aspects, a single value may be produced, which can then be stored for later use in comparing with other values produced from some subsequent collection of FQDNs.
