  • Publication number: 20240127119
Abstract: In one or more embodiments, a software service allows software providers to implement machine learning (ML) features into products offered by the software providers. Each ML feature may be referred to as an encapsulated ML application, which may be defined and maintained in a central repository, while also being provisioned for each user of the software provider on an as-needed basis. Advantageously, embodiments allow for a central definition for an ML application that encapsulates data science and processing capabilities and routines of the software provider. This central ML application delivers a ML deployment pipeline template that may be replicated multiple times as separate, tailored runtime pipeline instances on a per-user basis. Each runtime pipeline instance accounts for differences in the specific data of each user, resulting in user-specific ML models and predictions based on the same central ML application.

  • Patent number: 11942326
Abstract: A process to form a HEMT can have a gate electrode layer that initially has a plurality of spaced-apart doped regions. In an embodiment, any of the spaced-apart doped regions can be formed by depositing or implanting p-type dopant atoms. After patterning, the gate electrode can include an n-type doped region over the p-type doped region. In another embodiment a barrier layer can underlie the gate electrode and include a lower film with a higher Al content and thinner than an upper film. In a further embodiment, a silicon nitride layer can be formed over the gate electrode layer and can help to provide Si atoms for the n-type doped region and increase a Mg:H ratio within the gate electrode. The HEMT can have good turn-on characteristics, low gate leakage when in the on-state, and better time-dependent breakdown as compared to a conventional HEMT.

  • Patent number: 10180435
Abstract: A method for modification of solid substrates with proteins for efficient surface preconcentration of an analyte from multi-component samples before the detection based on desorption-ionization mass spectrometry and immunochemical assays. The claimed subject is a method of modification of surfaces used as substrates for desorption-ionization mass spectrometry and immunochemical assays. The method is based on electronebulization (electrospraying) of protein solution, depending on the intended application either enzymes, lectins, or antibodies. The formed charged electrospray is dried in real time by its passing through an evaporation compartment and the resulting beam of desolvated ions impacts onto the surface and binds to it firmly. Such modified surface can be then used for a selective interaction with an affinity partner of the deposited protein, its preconcentration or enzymatic modification followed by an analysis by means of desorption-ionization mass spectrometry or immunochemical assays.

  • Patent number: 9557880
Abstract: This disclosure provides various embodiments for providing UI services. An application-independent, reusable UI framework receives a request from a first application, to perform a first operation on a first set of data relating to presentation of the first set of data on a UI. A subset of the first set of data is received from a data provider independent of the UI framework. At least one first service is identified in response, the first service hosted by the UI framework and adapted to perform the first operation on the first set of data. The first operation is performed on the subset of the first set of data using the at least one identified first service to produce a first processed set of data adapted for presentation on a UI of the first application. The first processed set of data is sent to the first application.

  • Patent number: 9424836
Abstract: Techniques disclosed herein include systems and methods for privacy-sensitive training data collection for updating acoustic models of speech recognition systems. In one embodiment, the system locally creates adaptation data from raw audio data. Such adaptation can include derived statistics and/or acoustic model update parameters. The derived statistics and/or updated acoustic model data can then be sent to a speech recognition server or third-party entity. Since the audio data and transcriptions are already processed, the statistics or acoustic model data is devoid of any information that could be human-readable or machine readable such as to enable reconstruction of audio data. Thus, such converted data sent to a server does not include personal or confidential information. Third-party servers can then continually update speech models without storing personal and confidential utterances of users.

  • Patent number: 9358573
Abstract: A method of surface modification for analyzing of phosphorylated peptides. The surface of solid substrates is modified for efficient phosphorylated peptide preconcentration from complex peptide mixtures prior to detection based on desorption/ionization mass spectrometry. The method of surface functionalization is introduced by ambient ion landing. The approach is based on electronebulization, differently said electrospray, of solutions of organometallic compounds related to elements of 4B class of periodic table of elements, especially to zirconium, hafnium and titanium. The generated charged electrospray is dried on the fly by passing the heated compartment and focused to a surface for modification forming a stable oxide layer there. The surface modified this way has been used for phosphopeptide enrichment from peptide mixtures prior to desorption/ionization mass spectrometry.
