  • Publication number: 20210395067
Abstract: A bag-in-keg container for a carbonated beverage has a container body C, a flexible bag B within the container body, and a valve closure V attached to the container body. The valve closure includes a gas inlet port (11), a liquid dispensing port (12), and spring-loaded valve member (6) to sealably close the gas inlet and liquid dispensing ports. An adapter (20) sealingly attached to the flexible bag B incorporates a bag PRV (26) to vent gas pressure from within the flexible bag. A container PRV (40) vents gas pressure from between the container body C and the flexible bag B. The bag PRV has a valve shuttle with one side exposed to gas pressure within the flexible bag B and an opposite side exposed to gas pressure within a sealed plenum chamber (37). The bag PRV therefore operates at a fixed pressure independent of the differential pressure between the bag and the outer container.

  • Publication number: 20210371267
Abstract: A bag-in-keg container has a container body C, a flexible bag B within the container body, and a valve closure V attached to the container body. The valve closure includes a gas inlet port (11), a liquid dispensing port (12), and a spring-loaded valve member (6) to sealably close the gas inlet and liquid dispensing ports. An adapter (20) sealingly attached to the flexible bag B incorporates a bag PRV (26) to vent gas pressure from within the flexible bag. A container PRV (40) in the form of a flexible lip seal is operably associated with the valve member (6) to vent gas pressure from between the container body C and the flexible bag B. The lip seal is opened by a small positive pressure difference between inside and outside, but when the valve member (6) is opened to dispense liquid from the bag B the container PRV (40) is inoperative, allowing a relatively high internal gas pressure to be achieved when dispensing.

  • Publication number: 20210341892
Abstract: A convenient, water-saving and labor-saving FROG irrigation controller and system are provided, which determine the appropriate water budget and schedule for the property's landscaping based on evapotranspiration data for the geographic area, any regulation data, and property-specific data, with consideration given to reduction in watering days, increase in soil watering depth, and day of year. Once set, the FROG controller provides incremental adjustments over the course of the year; the homeowner no longer needs to re-set the watering program seasonally to automatically comply with local mandated and voluntary watering restrictions. One aspect provides a web-based wizard that is used to determine a customized water budget/schedule which is input into the FROG controller. Another aspect provides an integration of a network of FROG controllers with a central command unit.

  • Publication number: 20210331048
Abstract: A unique and innovative shaft for a golf club significantly enhances stability and shock absorption during golf swings. Taking advantage of the excellent flexibility, surface strength and shock absorption of a bamboo pole, the shaft is designed following the physical structure of the bamboo pole, thus helping facilitate vibration damping and absorption, stability during golf swings, supersymmetry and balance. The shaft comprises a plurality of connectors, each of which is a solid material and connects a plurality of links into an elongated member of the present invention. The plurality of connectors may be attached to the inside wall of the elongated member when designed as a tube. By varying the positions of connectors across the elongated member, the bamboo-inspired shaft can be configured to feature desired levels of flexibility and corrective/reversible torsion at one or more points on the shaft, thus help any golf player achieve substantial performance improvements.

  • Publication number: 20210331043
Abstract: A smart inner root device utilizing a “tree root technology” is interiorly integrated into a clubhead of a golf club and/or putter to create and maintain balance, harmony, resonance, and supersymmetry. The root device includes a fundamental root member, which comprises a plurality of links interconnected into a symmetrical structure. One or more root members are built in the root device in any desired shape and size to achieve substantially improved balance, high moment of inertia, and symmetry. The root device provides an insertion point for a hosel to connect a golf shaft to the clubhead. During a golf swing, the internal energy resulting from the swing force is evenly drawn up into the shaft through the root device and uniformly distributed at the center of mass, creating a performance edge by minimizing clubhead vibrations, twisting and distortion, thus helping a user achieve significant performance improvement and swing consistency.
