  • Publication number: 20240320030
Abstract: A determination is made whether a requested transaction of a certain type or class is available (i.e., suitable for execution or queueing) within a processing environment. In the case that a transaction of the certain type or class is not available, the request to be rejected is enabled, thus avoiding queuing of the requested transaction. Embodiments may thus provide a mechanism to protect a processing environment by avoiding the overhead of creating and removing specific transactions of the certain type or class.

  • Publication number: 20230339593
Abstract: An aircraft fuselage is configured to receive two tanks designed to contain liquid hydrogen. The fuselage includes a first section for a cockpit, a second section for a passenger cabin and a third section (T3) distinct from the first section (T1) and from the second section (T2). The third section (T3) includes two housings each to house a tank. The two housings are arranged symmetrically with respect to a vertical plane of symmetry (P1). This arrangement of the tanks in a section distinct from the other sections allows them to be located as close as possible to the motors that they have to supply.

  • Patent number: 10914551
Abstract: An ejector system for ejecting/separating a store, such as a weapon, from a launch platform includes a pair of spring assemblies that each include nested springs that are contained in a housing when the spring assemblies are in a compressed configuration. To separate the store from the aircraft the spring assemblies each move from the initial compressed configuration to an extended configuration, using the potential energy stored in the springs when compressed. The extension of the springs extends the springs mostly out of the spring assembly housings, extending telescoped sleeves of the spring assemblies. The extension of the spring assemblies provides a safe and steady way of separating the store from the launch platform, while having the advantages of being reusable, low cost and low weight, not producing any debris, and providing a softer push than may be produced by other separation mechanisms, such as the use of pyrotechnic devices.

  • Patent number: 10854974
Abstract: An antenna system, in one example implementation, can include antenna portions including a first portion of the antenna to receive a radio frequency (RF) signal. The antenna can include a second portion capacitively coupled to the first portion, wherein the capacitive coupling of the second portion to the first portion increases the high-band resonances. The antenna can include a third portion of the antenna connected to a connector. The third portion can be capacitively coupled to the first portion to excite wide low-band resonances and high-band resonances. The connector can be a ground for the third portion.
