  • Patent number: 6624362
Abstract: An electronically detectable resonance label, in particular an RFID label, includes a substrate made of plastic foil and conductive surfaces on the front and rear of the substrate. Some of the conductive surfaces form a capacitor in a mutual area of overlap. The label includes a first capacitor plate on the front of the substrate and a second capacitor plate on the rear of the substrate. The capacitor plates are in the shape of elongated strips of uniform width along their entire length. The capacitor plates only partially overlap, and the area of overlap is arranged at a distance from both ends of at least one capacitor plate. This provides the advantage that during the production process relative displacement of the capacitor plates can take place in two directions.

  • Patent number: 6566430
Abstract: Compositions prepared by mixing (A) 50-90 wt % of organopolysiloxane having a viscosity of from 50 to 100·106 mm2/s at 25° C., (B) 10-50 wt % of a metal oxide from the group consisting of titanium oxide, zirconium dioxide, zinc oxide, cerium(III) and cerium(IV) oxide, (C) 0.3-5 wt % of organosilicon compound containing basic nitrogen bound to silicon via carbon, (D) 0.05-0.5 wt % of platinum calculated as the element, in the form of a bis(alkynyl)platinum complex which additionally includes donor ligands, and (E) from 0 to 5 wt %, preferably 0 wt %, of further components, the sum of the percentages chosen within each of the ranges specified under (A) to (E) being 100 wt %, and the wt % in each case being based on the total weight of the additive, are highly suitable as additives to crosslinkable organosilicon compositions, providing one or more of improved tracking resistance, high arc resistance, and decreased flammability.

  • Patent number: 6489031
Abstract: The invention relates to self-adhesive addition-crosslinking silicone compositions which contain the components (A) diorganopolysiloxanes having aliphatic unsaturation, (B) organohydrogenpolysiloxanes bearing compatability decreasing substituents, (C) compounds having at least one aliphatically unsaturated radical and at least one &bgr;-diketone function or &bgr;-keto ester function and (D) a hydrosilylation catalyst. The compositions are cost effective, and exhibit excellent adhesion to both metallic and non-metallic substrates while maintaining other desirable physical properties.

  • Patent number: 5663738
Abstract: The antenna device has an antenna wire loop which, accompanied by the formation of two electrically outer (1,3) and one electrically central partial loop (2), is twice twisted by in each case 180.degree.. One of the two electrically outer partial loops (3) is geometrically positioned between the electrically central partial loop (2) and the other electrically outer partial loop (1). An impedance element (11) is connected between two connecting points (9,10) located at the entrance and exit of the geometrically central partial loop. The antenna device according to the invention has a very balanced characteristic and in the case of an appropriate choice of its parameters, behaves at the resonant frequency of the tags to be detected in the same way as an antenna with approximately 2 to 21/2 partial loops.
