Patent number: 12085685Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for seismic well tie domain conversion. In one embodiment, a process is provided to integrate well and seismic data for reservoir characterization. System configurations and processes described herein use neural networks to predict sonic well logs in the two way time (TWT) domain from measured well logs in depth, rather than predicting drift function. Embodiments are also directed to systems for reservoir characterization. Domain conversion of data includes receiving input data, preprocessing the data, and training a model to determine a length of an output sequence. The method also includes training the model for conversion of data based on at least one neural network. A sequence length prediction may be output as part of training and to perform modeling/prediction operations. The method also includes outputting the sequence of converted data in a TWT domain and a length of the sequence.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2021Date of Patent: September 10, 2024Assignee: Saudi Arabian Oil CompanyInventors: Philippe Georges Christophe Nivlet, Robert James Smith, Nasher Muqbel AlBinHassan

Publication number: 20240249471Abstract: The invention relates to the creation and/or use of an inference model that maps between a three-dimensional image data of an intra-oral tissue structure, e.g. shape and size of teeth roots, and a three-dimensional representation of an exposed surface of dental features of the intra-oral tissue structure, e.g. teeth crowns. In particular, the present invention proposes a method for image processing, using an inference model, a computer-readable surface representation of an individual's intra-oral tissue to provide a full three-dimensional representation of the intra-oral tissue. The present invention also proposes a method for creating the inference model.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 24, 2022Publication date: July 25, 2024Applicant: Vitaware LtdInventors: Archil TSISKARIDZE, Philippe Georges YOUNG

Publication number: 20240242439Abstract: The present invention proposes a technique for selectively recovering features of an original surface (e.g. boundary) representation after the original surface representation has been converted to a digitised image, digitally altered, and a new surface representation generated from the digitally altered digitised image. In particular, this technique involves tracking the portions of the digitised image that are digitally altered and/or not digitally altered, and selectively recovering only the portions of the original surface representation that have not been digitally altered. In this way, the original surface representation can be effectively used as a template to recover accuracy and reintroduce detailed features that would otherwise be lost when converting into image space, but any alterations or manipulations intentionally introduced in the image space are maintained.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 24, 2022Publication date: July 18, 2024Applicant: VITAWARE LTDInventors: Archil TSISKARIDZE, Philippe Georges YOUNG

Patent number: 11748684Abstract: Various examples of methods and systems are provided for improved predictive analytics. In one example, a method of managing operation of an asset or group of assets of interest includes comparing a generated prediction with one or more prediction range associated with a risk profile assigned to an operational outcome of interest, presenting a notification to an operator in response to the comparison, and incorporating operator-generated input as updated source data for the generation of subsequent predictions. The operator-generated input can comprise an operator-defined selection such as, e.g., acceptance of the notification, or rejection of the notification. The operator-generated input can provide real time or near real time information based upon context-specific knowledge that the operator holds that is substantially independent of historical source data.Type: GrantFiled: March 2, 2018Date of Patent: September 5, 2023Assignee: Raytheon Technologies Corp.Inventors: Robert Glenn Morris, II, Mario Montag, Philippe Georges Ivan Marie Thys

Patent number: 10346708Abstract: A computer-implemented image processing technique for selectively recovering the features of an original CAD model after the original CAD model has been converted to a digitized image and a new CAD model generated from the digitized image. The original boundary representation provides a template to transform the representation through processing under governance of a programmed processor so as to recover accuracy and reintroduce feature edges and feature corners as well as other detailed features to the CAD model obtained from the digitized image, e.g., to enable detailed features to be retained that would otherwise have been lost due to the lossy conversion into image space. The method operates to better ensure that reconstructed boundary vertices lie on original CAD model surfaces and feature edges and corners are recovered.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2017Date of Patent: July 9, 2019Assignee: Synopsys, Inc.Inventors: Philippe Georges Young, David Raymont, Sumit Paranjape
