  • Publication number: 20090005565
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for the N-demethylation and/or N-acylation of an N-methylated heterocycle such as morphine alkaloids or tropane alkaloids. The method comprises reacting the heterocycle with an acylating agent in the presence of a metal catalyst.

Inventors: Robert James Carroll, Hannes Leisch, Tomas Hudlicky, D. Phillip Cox
  • Publication number: 20080139814
Abstract: The present invention is directed to processes for preparing oxycodone base and oxycodone hydrochloride compositions having less than 10 ppm of 14-hydroxycodeinone.
    Type: Application
    Filed: December 4, 2007

  • Publication number: 20080131800
Abstract: A device including a charging component; a developing component; a transport component; a photoconductive component; and a radiant fusing component; wherein the development component contains a toner comprising at least one crystalline polymer, optionally an amorphous polymer, and at least one colorant.
    Type: Application
    Filed: September 20, 2007

  • Publication number: 20050268521
Abstract: A firearm sight receives information regarding a factor, and then automatically adjusts the relative positions of a digital reticle and an image on a viewing section to compensate for the influence of the factor on a projectile trajectory. A different feature involves automatically adjusting a characteristic of the reticle based on the image. Another feature involves automatically adjusting the digital image to distinguish a portion thereof aligned with the reticle from an adjacent portion thereof. Yet another feature involves causing the firearm sight to generate an audible sound. Still another feature involves presenting information on the viewing section which represents the position of the firearm sight on the surface of the earth.

  • Patent number: 6631040
Abstract: An optical apparatus (10, 310) includes a housing (12) having a lens support (51, 321) moveably supported therein. An athermalization part (121, 341) is coupled at one end to the housing and at the other end to the lens support, in order to effect movement of the lens support relative to the housing in response to a temperature variation. This coupling includes coupling structure (148, 348) on the athermalization part which engages coupling structure (27, 327) on the housing or lens support, and these coupling structures are resiliently urged into engagement with each other in a manner that facilitates a zero backlash condition.
