  • Patent number: 11760541
Abstract: A rigid stopper (10) made of bisphenol-free polycarbonate and silicone synthetic materials, particularly for a wine bottle (48), comprises a cylindrical body (12) and two opposing faces (16, 18), and at least two compressible-elastomeric “O”-rings (22, 24) seated in corresponding circumferential grooves (26, 28) on a side (14) of the body (12). The faces (16, 18) are comprised of foramen (42, 44) respectively which communicate with a volute-cavity (40) for the purpose of accepting a cork-screw-extractor. The volute-cavity (40) is comprised of a partition (46) at a central-plane (56) for the purpose of preventing wine from leaking through the volute-cavity (40). “O”-rings (22, 24) are compressively forced into a mouth (50) of a bottle (48) positioning either face (16) or face (18) flush with the mouth (50) thereby providing adequate compressive force in maintaining position of the stopper (10).

  • Publication number: 20220411136
Abstract: A rigid stopper (10) made of synthetic materials, particularly for wine bottles, comprises a substantially cylindrical body (12) defining a longitudinal axis (20), with a side surface (14) and two opposing substantially flat end faces (16, 18), and at least two compressible-elastomeric “O”-rings (22, 24) seated in corresponding semicircular-circumferential-grooves (26, 28) on the side surface (14). The semicircular-circumferential-grooves (26, 28) are positioned symmetrically about a central-plane (56) toward faces (16, 18) of body (12) respectively. Faces (16, 18) are comprised of foramen (42, 44) respectively which communicate with a volute cavity (14) for the purpose of accepting a typical cork-screw-extractor.

  • Publication number: 20210148129
Abstract: An open chamber (88) of predetermined size and shape is positioned within a pool floor (86) so as to contain a plurality of a telescopic module (10) which occupy said chamber area. Each of the telescopic module (10) is independently extended and retracted in length by the rotational direction of an electric motor (54) screw (58) concentrically contained within the confines of said telescopic module (10), establishing in selected telescopic modules a specific reef size, shape, and orientation. When a kinetic-energy (110) within the water passes over the predetermined shape, size, and orientation of the reef, a wave (140) is generated having specific features resulting from the properties of the specific reef configuration.

  • Patent number: 9982448
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include an articulated plow that displaces water within a pool to create water wave energy. The articulated plow may include blades that are vertically engaged and coplanar during a wave energy stroke, thereby forcing water in front of the plow to be displaced. During the wave energy stroke, the static water plane behind the plow may be maintained at a predetermined elevation. During a reset stroke, the blades may rotate through their respective centroidal axis simultaneously to a horizontal attitude, thereby gliding through the static water.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include an articulated plow that displaces water within a pool to create water wave energy. The articulated plow may include blades that are vertically engaged and coplanar during a wave energy stroke, thereby forcing water in front of the plow to be displaced. During the wave energy stroke, the static water plane behind the plow may be maintained at a predetermined elevation thereby promoting equilibrium in hydrostatic pressure in front of and behind the plow, resulting in less force required during the plow reciprocation. During a reset stroke, the blades may rotate through their respective centroidal axis simultaneously to a horizontal attitude, thereby gliding through the static water without creating turbulence. Disclosed embodiments may be used to create a nature-like board surfing experience when combined with a downstream reef option and a downstream inclined pool floor.

  • Patent number: 9297177
Abstract: An open chamber of predetermined size and shape is positioned within a pool bed so as to contain interconnected clusters of interconnected telescopic modules which occupy the chamber area. Each of the telescopic modules is independently extended and retracted in length vertically by the increase or decrease of the volume of water contained within a bellows, establishing in selected telescopic modules a specific reef size, shape, and orientation. When kinetic-energy is introduced upstream from a source, the kinetic-energy within the water passes over the reef, and generates a wave having specific features resulting from the properties of the specific reef configuration.

  • Publication number: 20120020735
Abstract: An open chamber of predetermined size, and shape is positioned in a predetermined location within the confines of a pool bed so as to contain interconnected clusters of interconnected telescopic modules which occupy the entire chamber area. Each of the telescopic module is independently extended and retracted in length vertically by the increase or decrease of the volume of water contained within a bellows interconnected within each telescopic module, thereby establishing in the totality of the population of selected telescopic modules, a specific reef size, shape, and orientation. When kinetic-energy is introduced upstream from a source, the kinetic-energy within the water passes over the predetermined shape, size, and oriented reef, and generates a wave having specific features resulting from the properties of the specific reef configured.

  • Publication number: 20100124460
Abstract: A new use of existing dry material storage silos. The massive capacity, proportions of height to diameter, uniform lateral strength attributed to vertical cylindrical and elevated configuration, and very existence provides for a cost effective and efficient means of water storage and release of massive volumes of water for the purpose of creating wave energy in a pool for water surfing and other water recreational entertainment or sport activities.

  • Publication number: 20040094589
Abstract: A carrier (10A and 10B) made of a flexible, rigid insulating material consisting of a longitudinal flap (16) with integral lobe (18) to enable the carrier to be secured onto the bed (30) of a pickup truck by trapping said lobe within the gap (34) between the pickup truck bed and truck tailgate (28). The top panel (42) and bottom panel (44) each consisting of zipper pulls (22A, 22B, 22C, 22D) and said panel attachment onto common back panel (12) to permit opening and closing and serving further purpose as to permit complete collapsing and folding of the carrier. The carrier actually consisting of two identical mirror image configured carriers for maximum consumption of space generated by the width and height of said truck bed, and distance between said pickup truck tailgate and truck tubular-bed-extender (36).
