Publication number: 20240171831Abstract: A computer implemented method for algorithmically editing digital video content is disclosed. A video file containing source video is processed to extract metadata. Label taxonomies are applied to extracted metadata. The labelled metadata is processed to identify higher-level labels. Identified higher-level labels are stored as additional metadata associated with the video file. A clip generating algorithm applies the stored metadata for selectively editing the source video to generate a plurality of different candidate video clips. Responsive to determining a clip presentation trigger on a viewer device, a clip selection algorithm is implemented that applies engagement data and metadata for the candidate video clips to select one of the stored candidate video clips. The engagement data is representative of one or more engagement metrics recorded for at least one of the stored candidate video clips. The selected video clip is presented to one or more viewers via corresponding viewer devices.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 23, 2023Publication date: May 23, 2024Inventors: Robert Andrew Hitching, Ashley John Wing, Phillip John Wing

Publication number: 20240154188Abstract: Provided are battery packs and interface modules for electrically interconnecting electrochemical cells in the packs and for providing heat distribution with the packs. An interface module interfaces one side of all electrochemical cells in a battery pack. The interface module may have a substantially planar shape such that the space occupied by the module in the battery pack is minimal. Most, if not all, conductive components of the interface module may be formed from the same sheet of metal. In some embodiments, the interface module includes multiple bus bars such that each bus bar interconnects two or more terminals of different electrochemical cells in the battery pack. Each bus bar may have a separate voltage sense lead extending from the bus bar to a connecting portion. The bus bars may be flexibly supported within the module. The interface module may also include multiple thermistors disposed on different bus bars.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 14, 2023Publication date: May 9, 2024Inventors: Weston Arthur HERMANN, David E. The stator base has a planar stator surface covering an array of electrical coils configured to generate an electromagnetic field. The movers each contain multiple permanent magnets configured to cause the movers to levitate and move relative to the stator surface in response to the electromagnetic field. The end effectors are coupled to the movers, and each end effector perform one or more functions in relation to a material sheet. The controller activates the electrical coils in a manner causing independent, coordinated movement of the movers over the stator surface, and causing the end effectors to engage with and operate on the material sheet.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 16, 2022Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: Phillip John Crothers, Martin Alexander Szarski

Patent number: 11953982Abstract: Embodiments include in response to monitoring a processor during operation, detecting a first number of core recovery events in the processor, determining that the first number of core recovery events fulfills a first condition for the first core recovery events threshold, and modifying a value of at least one droop sensor parameter of the processor by a first amount. The at least one droop sensor parameters affects a sensitivity to a voltage droop. In response to modifying the value of the droop sensor parameter by the first amount, a second number of core recovery events is detected in the processor.
