  • Publication number: 20240349275
Abstract: Techniques for flexible hybrid automatic repeat request selection by a user equipment are provided. An example method includes a user equipment (UE) processing a plurality of physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) opportunities associated with a configured grant (CG) cycle. The UE can apply a first logical channel prioritization (LCP) setting when processing a first PUSCH opportunity of the plurality of PUSCH opportunities. The UE can evaluate whether a condition for switching from the first LCP to a second LCP of the plurality of PUSCH opportunities has been met. The UE can, based on the evaluation, apply a second LCP setting when processing the second PUSCH opportunity.

  • Publication number: 20240340733
Abstract: The present application relates to devices and components including apparatus, systems, and methods for L2 resets. For example, a UE can be connected to a base station DU via a first cell and can be configured with information about a second cell. This information can indicate whether an LTM association exists between the first cell and the second cell (e.g., whether these two cells are provided by the same base station DU or not). Upon a command to establish a connection with the second cell (e.g., a MAC CE handover command), the UE can determine whether an L2 reset is to be performed or not based on the configuration information (e.g., the L2 reset can be foregone when the two cells are provided by the same base station DU; otherwise, the L2 reset can be performed).

  • Publication number: 20240334474
Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to logical channel prioritization. A method includes obtaining an uplink grant from a network device, the uplink grant indicating uplink resources for transmission to the network device and selecting a logical channel prioritization setting from a plurality of logical channel prioritization settings based on a predetermined policy related to the uplink grant, the logical channel prioritization settings defining different sets of prioritization parameters for uplink data in at least one logical channel and uplink control information in occupying the uplink resources. The method further includes generating, based on the logical channel prioritization setting, a packet data unit including at least one of the uplink control information or at least one part of the uplink data for transmission to the network device using the uplink resources. In this way, adaptive and dynamic prioritization across logical channels can be achieved at the terminal device.
