    Abstract: Applications of a serum S100A8/A9 complex level in the prognosis assessment of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) are disclosed. The prognosis assessment refers to predicting short-term and long-term prognosis of an AMI patient undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and determining whether the patient falls into a high-risk group of postoperative adverse events (AEs) or a low-risk group of the postoperative AEs. The AEs include but are not limited to death, cardiogenic shock (CS), and acute heart failure (AHF). The S100A8/A9 complex is a heterodimer complex formed by S100A8 protein (Calgranulin A, MRP8) and S100A9 protein (Calgranulin B, MRP14) in a calcium ion-dependent manner. The S100A8/A9 complex refers to the S100A8/A9 complex in serum of the patient within 24 h after the PCI. An antibody pair for detecting the serum S100A8/A9 complex is also disclosed.

The control circuit is configured to turn off the transistor when the voltage across the inductor is greater than a threshold to restrict current from a power supply, and turn on the transistor when a defined parameter is met to allow current from the power supply to charge the load capacitance.     Abstract: Application of a Mannich base in a flame-retardant polyurethane material is provided. The Mannich base has a structure represented by a formula (I). In the Mannich base, flame-retardant groups, i.e., halogens are introduced at the second, fourth and sixth positions of a phenyl group, and flame-retardant elements, i.e., halogens and nitrogen are introduced into synthesized polyether polyol, giving the synthesized polyether polyol good flame retardance. The amount of active hydrogen in the Mannich base is small so that occurrence of side reactions during the synthesis of the polyether polyol is reduced, and the viscosity of the flame-retardant polyether polyol is lowered. Due to autocatalytic performance of tertiary amido in the flame-retardant polyether polyol, use of a catalyst can be reduced and even avoided during the synthesis. A preparation method of the Mannich base is also provided.

    Abstract: A direct current (DC) electric motor assembly with a closed type overlap stator winding which is commutated with a timed commutating sequence that is capable of generating a stator rotating magnetic field. The coil overlap of the winding and a timed commutation sequence are such that the current in each slot of the stator is additive and when a previous magnetic pole collapses according to a commutation sequence; the energy released by that previous collapsing magnetic field is captured to strengthen the next magnetic field on the commutation sequence schedule. Electrical currents produced by the collapsing magnetic fields flow to low electric potential and add or subtract to the DC current provided by the commutator thus promoting formation of the next magnetic on commutation schedule. When used with a suitable commutator and rotor, the electric motor assembly provides a true brushless high torque speed controlled Real Direct Current (RDC) motor that operates with higher efficiency and higher power density.

    Abstract: A wireless communications system may support a large number of user equipment (UEs) and a base station may transmit resource configuration information to a group of UEs, in which the configuration information identifies the group of UEs. In some cases, the base station may receive a data transmission from a UE of the UE group that the base station cannot decode. The base station may then transmit a group-common feedback signal to the UE group. Once the transmitting UE of the UE group receives the group-common signal, the UE may re-transmit the data to the base station. By sending a group-common feedback signal, the base station may conserve resources, improve reliability and increase successful uplink transmissions from UEs.

    Abstract: A method for stabilizing rice bran with complex enzyme involving enzymatic hydrolysis combined with thermal processing to stabilize rice bran, includes compounding at least one of glycosyl hydrolases such as cellulase, hemicellulase and alpha amylase into a complex enzyme solution, and performing enzymatic hydrolysis on the rice bran with the complex enzyme solution, and after enzymatic hydrolysis, performing thermal processing and inactivating enzyme treatment on rice bran using the moist-heat method, microwave method and/or extrusion expansion method, to prepare the stabilized rice bran. From the perspective of reducing bound lipase from rice bran, the glycosyl hydrolase is used to catalyze conversion of bound lipase in rice bran into free lipase, thereby effectively improving inactivation efficiency of rice bran lipase. The rice bran prepared using the method has characteristics of low residual activity of lipase and long shelf life, and may be directly applied to industries such as food and cosmetics.
