  • Patent number: 6543315
Abstract: A ratchet structure of a screwdriver includes a seat body disposed on a handle, a ratchet mechanism and an outer collar. The seat body has a stop wall projecting therefrom. The stop wall defines a central receiving space and an opening. The seat body has a projecting post at the opening to divide the opening into a left split and a right split. A stem is fitted in the receiving space. The ratchet mechanism includes a left dog and a right dog respectively disposed at the left and right splits. The post is formed with a left and a right projecting section. The middle sections of the left and right dogs are formed with left and right notches in which the left and right projecting sections are respectively cooperatively inlaid. The left and right dogs swing about the projecting sections to disengage from the toothed section of the stem.

  • Patent number: 6523439
Abstract: A ratchet structure of a screwdriver, including a seat body disposed on a handle of the screwdriver, a ratchet mechanism and a cap member. The seat body is formed with a central cavity through which a stem of the ratchet mechanism is fitted. Two sides of the cavity are formed with left and a right chambers which symmetrically extend for receiving therein a left and a right dogs of the ratchet mechanism. The seat body is formed with two projecting sections respectively corresponding to the left and right dogs for supporting the same. The cap member is formed with a projecting block corresponding to the left and right dogs. When turning the cap member, the projecting block pushes and deflects the left dog or the right dog to disengage from a toothed section of the stem so as to control the rotational direction of the stem driven by the seat body.

Abstract: A ratchet structure of a screwdriver, including a seat body disposed on a handle, a ratchet mechanism and an outer collar. The seat body has a substantially C-shaped stop wall axially projecting from the seat body. The stop wall defines a central receiving space and an opening. The seat body has a projecting post at the opening to divide the opening into a left split and a right split. A stem of the ratchet mechanism is fitted in the receiving space of the seat body. The ratchet mechanism includes a left dog and a right dog respectively disposed at the left and right splits of the seat body. The post is formed with a left and a right projecting sections. The middle sections of the left and right dogs are formed with left and right notches in which the left and right projecting sections are respectively cooperatively inlaid.

  • Publication number: 20020035898
Abstract: An adjustable wrench including a main body, a slide block, a movable jaw and a handle. The main body is formed with a hollow section in which the slide block is transversely slidably disposed. An adjustment bolt is pivotally disposed on the slide block and engaged with the movable jaw. One side of the slide block adjacent to the handle is formed with a dented section. The handle has at least one stop member corresponding to the dented section for abutting against the slide block. When the handle is wrenched, the stop member abuts against and locate the slide block so as to fix the movable jaw. At this time, the fixed jaw and movable jaw can clamp and wrench a work piece. When the handle is wrenched in reverse direction, the stop member is disengage from the slide block, whereby the slide block and the movable jaw are pushed open by the work piece and idle. Accordingly, the adjustable wrench can one-way wrench the work piece.

  • Patent number: 6345555
Abstract: A reversible adjustable wrench having a main body on which a slidable first jaw and a pivotally rotatable second jaw are disposed. In normal state, a leaning section of the second jaw is leant against a stop block to prevent the second jaw from being pivotally rotated. By means of rotating a spiral rod, the gap between the first and second jaws can be adjusted to snugly clamp different sizes of nuts or bolts. After moving the stop block, the second jaw has a space for pivotal rotation, permitting the wrench to be reversely wrenched.

  • Patent number: 6336384
Abstract: An Adjustable wrench including a main body, a slide block, a movable jaw and a grip. The main body has a jaw section and a hollow section in which the slide block and the movable jaw are disposed. The grip is pivotally connected with the hollow section. The slide block has a projecting section slidably inserted in the slide channels of the main body. A top face of the projecting section is formed with a semicircular groove. A lower portion of the movable jaw is a projecting rail complementary to the slide channels of the main body. A bottom face of the projecting rail is formed with a concave face cooperating with the semicircular groove of the slide block. The concave face is formed with a thread. The projecting rail of the movable jaw and the projecting section of the slide block are together inlaid in the slide channels of the main body.

  • Patent number: 6089129
Abstract: An adjustable wrench including a fixed jaw, a movable jaw, a gear, an engaging block, a switch button and a grip. When tightening or untightening a nut with the adjustable wrench, it is unnecessary to repeatedly draw up the wrench and fit the wrench onto the nut. The nut can be continuously rotated. In addition, the switch button can be switched to change the rotational direction without reversing the adjustable wrench so as to facilitate operation and increase working efficiency.
