    Abstract: A device for preparing ultra-high purity zinc based on intelligently-controlled zone melting, including a slide platform connected with a screw through a servo control system to control movement of a heating-cooling device. A quartz tube is provided inside an induction heater to protect a melting zone. An infrared thermometer is connected to the heater, and configured to monitor temperature within the melting zone, and control power of the heater. A ring magnetic stirrer with non-contact circumferential rotation cooperates with coil to stir zinc melt. A water-cooling copper jacket is connected to two ends of the heater to cool a zinc bar, and its water inlet and outlet are connected with a water chiller. The infrared thermometer monitors temperature of the zinc bar and controls water flow of the cooling system.     Abstract: Detecting fine-grained similarity in image includes determining a core area of a search image by generating an image salient map from a plurality of layers of the search image and determining a connected area based on the image salient map. Feature descriptors are generated from the core area of the search image. A plurality of capsule vectors are generated from different ones of a plurality of keypoints of the feature descriptors. Capsule vectors of the search image are compared with capsule vectors of each image of the dataset to generate a top-K matrix. Similarity scores for the top-K matrix are calculated. One or more image of the dataset having fine-grained similarity with the search image are selected based a bundled similarity score for each image of the dataset. The bundled similarity score is a summation of the similarity scores of the image.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for improving accuracy of a vision model. Images of an object with a first set of perspectives are received from a dataset used to train the vision model. A three-dimensional model of the object is then generated using the images of the object from the dataset. Using the three-dimensional model of the object, images of the object with a second set of perspectives are obtained. For example, the second set of perspectives may include different perspectives than the perspectives of the object from the images contained in the dataset. The dataset used to train the vision model may then be augmented with such images of the object with a second set of perspectives. In this manner, the dataset used to train the vision model includes a greater number of perspectives of the object thereby improving the accuracy of the vision model.

In the present disclosure, high-efficiency short-distance ligation reaction is used to realize the cross-linking of RNA in virus particles in cell culture or collected supernatant, so as to analyze the HOS of RNA virus genome.

    Abstract: Approximate nearest neighbor (ANN) searching is a fundamental problem in computer science with numerous applications in area such as machine learning and data mining. For typical graph-based ANN methods, the searching method is executed iteratively, and the execution dependency prohibits graphics processor unit (GPU)/GPU-type processor adaptations. Presented herein are embodiments of a novel framework that decouples the searching on graph methodology into stages, in order to parallel the performance-crucial distance computation. Furthermore, in one or more embodiments, to obtain better parallelism on GPU-type components, also disclosed are novel ANN-specific optimization methods that eliminate dynamic memory allocations and trade computations for less memory consumption. Embodiments were empirically compared against other methods, and the results confirm the effectiveness.
