Abstract: A method of estimating a distance in an endoscopic image is implemented by an endoscopic system. The method includes steps of: irradiating a lesion of a subject and obtaining an image of the lesion and a scale of the endoscopic system as a to-be-analyzed image while the lesion is being irradiated and the scale is placed adjacent to the lesion; using a lesion-contour prediction model to generate a prediction result that indicates a contour of the lesion; displaying the prediction result; generating two selected points on the contour of the lesion; and estimating, based on the scale in the to-be-analyzed image, an actual distance between the two selected points.

Abstract: An eye image capturing and processing device is provided. The device includes a portable user terminal body and an application program installed in the portable user terminal body. The portable user terminal body has thereon an image capturing module for capturing an eye image of a user to generate instant image data. The application program receives the instant image data and performs a data processing procedure, and takes an automatic selfie or generates an indication signal to instruct the user to take a manual selfie when a preset condition is satisfied, thereby generating a to-be-diagnosed image corresponding to the eye of the user.

Abstract: A wearable device and a method for selecting and interpreting light intensity data values applicable thereto. The wearable device includes a light emitting unit and a spectrum sensing unit. The method includes steps of: controlling the light-emitting unit to simultaneously emit a mixed light including multiple spectrum frequency bands to enter inside skin of the user; controlling the spectrum sensing unit to sense the intensity of an outgoing light from inside skin of the user at a series of sampling time to generate a spectrum data set including a plurality of groups of frequency band-light intensity data values; and selecting at least one of a first group of frequency band-light intensity data values satisfying a signal quality index in the spectrum data set to perform a data interpretation at a first judgment time point.

The endoscope body has a proximal portion and a distal portion opposite each other and includes a working channel. The suture device includes a first arm and a second arm opposite each other. The working channel connects the proximal portion and the distal portion. The first arm and the second arm extend toward a distal direction. At least one of the first arm and the second arm are pivotally connected to the distal portion and can be opened or closed with respect to the other. The operation method thereof is also provided.

Abstract: A system and a method for controlling a surface mounting process are proposed. Barcodes of feeder trays in a work station are scanned, prompting an inquiry module to retrieve a corresponding work station serial number, which is transmitted to a microprocessor module. This then prompts the microprocessor module to generate a signal to the work station, so as to inform an operator to place the scanned feeder trays in the work station. After placing the feeder trays in position, the microprocessor module generates another signal to inform the operator whether or not the surface mounting process is readily initiated. A printer device is prompted by the microprocessor module to print a list of material serial numbers of the feeder trays to be replenished, allowing the operator to perform replenishment for the feeder trays according to the list, so as to maintain the progress of the surface mounting process.

Abstract: A method and a system for updating data are proposed, for allowing a user at a client's computer device to monitor data condition in a server, wherein the server includes a data-updating module and a data-reading module, and is pre-constructed with a database and a corresponding result table. First, when a data source transmits data to the server, the transmitted data are stored in the database. When a predetermined data-updating time is reached in operation of the server, the data-updating module retrieves the data from the database and stores the retrieved data in the result table. When a predetermined data-reading time is reached in operation of the client's computer device, a data-reading request is submitted to the server, allowing the data-reading module to read the data in the result table according to the request and transmit the read data to the client's computer device for display.
