Abstract: An inventory management system for evaluating delivery execution ratio of component part supplier is established between computers of a product manufacturer and at least one component part supplier over a network connection. The inventory management system can regularly calculate a delivery execution ratio of each component part supplier based on estimated product demand sent by a product manufacturer, quantity of product promised by the component part supplier in response to the estimated product demand, and actual delivery of the promised quantity of product by the component part supplier.

Abstract: A system and a method for controlling a surface mounting process are proposed. Barcodes of feeder trays in a work station are scanned, prompting an inquiry module to retrieve a corresponding work station serial number, which is transmitted to a microprocessor module. This then prompts the microprocessor module to generate a signal to the work station, so as to inform an operator to place the scanned feeder trays in the work station. After placing the feeder trays in position, the microprocessor module generates another signal to inform the operator whether or not the surface mounting process is readily initiated. A printer device is prompted by the microprocessor module to print a list of material serial numbers of the feeder trays to be replenished, allowing the operator to perform replenishment for the feeder trays according to the list, so as to maintain the progress of the surface mounting process.

Abstract: A method and a system for immediately issuing a production plan are proposed, in which a production plan is transmitted by a network to a production-line host, so as to allow the production-line host to access the production plan and allow a production-associated department to monitor an operational status in production in real time. First, the production plan is transmitted through the network to a first database for storage, allowing the production-line host to access the production plan for performing the production. Moreover, the production-line host transmits the operational status in the production to a second database for storage, allowing the production-associated department to read the operational status for monitoring the production in real time. In addition, material data stored in the first and second databases are integrated by the system to be used as a material stock reference for next production.

Abstract: A structure for an infrared ray communication device placed over a lane which encloses a wireless infrared communication device and includes an upper cover for an attachment lens, an attachment lens, a rain shield, a light guiding device, a fixed support for an emitting module, a fixed support for a receiving module, a circuit board socket, a trough for a transformer, fixed hooks, and a rain shield. The device is placed over a path of a passing vehicle, and used to receive infrared rays and to proceed with data transmission.
