  • Publication number: 20100238140
Abstract: A photo element includes a photo thin film transistor (TFT), a switch thin film transistor, and a compensation thin film transistor. A bias line provides a bias voltage to the photo TFT. The photo TFT generates a photo-induced current under an illuminated environment. A first switch line provides a voltage to open the switch TFT, and thus the photo-induced current is read out through a readout line. A second switch line provides compensation current to open the compensation TFT. The compensation current applies a reverse-biased stress to the photo TFT; therefore the threshold voltage and sensitivity of the photo TFT can be maintained.

  • Publication number: 20100079406
Abstract: An in-cell capacitive touch panel is disclosed. The present invention utilizes a sensing unit that comprises a sensing liquid crystal capacitor and three transistors to detect touch events. A first transistor is connected to a first gate line and the sensing liquid crystal capacitor and controlled by the first gate line to charge the sensing liquid crystal capacitor. A second transistor together with a third transistor functions as a capacitance-current converter. The second transistor generates an output current according to the voltage of a first electrode of the sensing liquid crystal capacitor. A second gate line controls the third transistor to transfer the output current through a readout line to a readout unit that determines the touch positions. Thus, the in-cell capacitive touch panel of the present invention can use a simple-structure readout circuit to achieve superior readout accuracy and is adaptive to various sizes of touch panels.

  • Patent number: 7581421
Abstract: A door lock assembly includes a transverse retaining plate disposed inside a spindle tube and having a stabilizing part and a retaining tongue projecting into a retention slot in a handle. A support structure is disposed within the handle oppositely of the retention slot and has a support part extending radially into the spindle tube. When the door lock assembly is in a locking state and when the retaining tongue in the retention slot is pressed externally, one of two diametrically opposite edges of a tailpiece of a key plug abuts against the support part, and the other one of the edges abuts against the stabilizing part of the retaining plate to restrict the retaining tongue from moving away from the retention slot, thereby preventing undesirable removal of the handle from the door lock assembly.

  • Publication number: 20090109359
Abstract: A display device detects a touched position by making use of an inducing element and a counter electrode. The voltage produced by the counter electrode is able to affect a conductivity of the channel of the inducing element corresponding to the touched position. The inducing element and a readout circuit are disposed on a substrate of the display device. The counter electrode and a shielding element are both corresponded to the inducing element. The channel of the inducing element corresponding to the touched position changes the conductivity due to the voltage produced by the corresponding counter electrode, and an inducing signal is then generated. The inducing signal is furnished to the readout circuit for signal processing, and a readout signal is generated for analyzing the touched position.
