    Abstract: A method for driving pixels of a display panel is provided. The display panel includes a first gate line coupled to a gate of a first-switch transistor, wherein a source of the first-switch transistor is coupled to a liquid crystal capacitor and a first-storage capacitor. The liquid crystal capacitor includes a pixel electrode and a common electrode. A terminal of the first-storage capacitor is coupled to a second gate line. First, a first modulation signal is provided to the common electrode. Next, the first-switch transistor is turned on by the first gate line. Next, a second modulation signal is provided to the second gate line after the first-switch transistor is turned on. Wherein, the second modulation signal enables a second-switch transistor coupled to the second gate line to operate in the cut-off region. And the first and second modulation signals are in phase.

    Abstract: A display device detects a touched position by making use of a inducing element and a counter electrode. The voltage produced by the counter electrode is able to affect a conductivity of the channel of the inducing element corresponding to the touched position. The inducing element and a readout circuit are disposed on a substrate of the display device. The counter electrode and a shielding element are both corresponded to the inducing element. The channel of the inducing element corresponding to the touched position changes the conductivity due to the voltage produced by the corresponding counter electrode, and an inducing signal is then generated. The inducing signal is furnished to the readout circuit for signal processing, and a readout signal is generated for analyzing the touched position.

    Abstract: A photo-sensitive element, a readout pixel with the photo-sensitive element, and a liquid crystal display with the readout pixels are described. The photo-sensitive element includes a switch TFT and a photo detecting device. The gate electrode of the switch TFT is electrically connected to a switch line and the source electrode of the switch TFT is electrically connected to a readout line. The photo detecting device is connected between the switch line and the drain electrode of the switch TFT for detecting the brightness of a light incident thereon. The photo detecting device is preferably a photo TFT, a photo diode, or a light sensitive resistor. The photo TFT and the switch TFT are preferably amorphous silicon transistors.     Abstract: A door lock assembly includes a spindle tube inserted rotatably into a sleeve connected to a handle. A spindle drive is disposed in the spindle tube adjacent to a driven shaft that is disposed in the spindle tube and that has a driven part driven by a driving tooth of the spindle drive to rotate the driven shaft. A clutch tube is inserted into the spindle tube and is sleeved around the driven shaft. The clutch tube is connected movably to and moved by the driven shaft so that the clutch tube is connected to the sleeve in an unlocking position of the door lock assembly, or separated from the sleeve in a locking position. Thus, the handle idles in the locking position.

    Abstract: A door lock assembly includes a sleeve connected to a handle, a spindle tube inserted into the sleeve and having a spindle tab to control a latch, and a spindle driving plate disposed transversely within the spindle tube. A tail piece of a key plug attached to the handle engages a central aperture of the spindle driving plate. A radial tooth of the spindle driving plate extends radially into a slot of the spindle tube so as to rotate the spindle tube when the spindle driving plate is rotated by the tail piece. The door lock assembly has no transmitting element to transmit rotational movement from the sleeve to the spindle tube and does not permit retraction of the latch by rotating the handle.

    Abstract: A door lock assembly includes a transverse retaining plate disposed inside a spindle tube and having a stabilizing part and a retaining tongue projecting into a retention slot in a handle. A support structure is disposed within the handle oppositely of the retention slot and has a support part extending radially into the spindle tube. When the door lock assembly is in a locking state and when the retaining tongue in the retention slot is pressed externally, one of two diametrically opposite edges of a tailpiece of a key plug abuts against the support part, and the other one of the edges abuts against the stabilizing part of the retaining plate to restrict the retaining tongue from moving away from the retention slot, thereby preventing undesirable removal of the handle from the door lock assembly.
