    Abstract: An adjustable bottom retainer used in coordination with a non-pull cord window blind includes a base, and first and second worm rods. The base is disposed in a bottom beam of the window blind and has a set of ladder cord inserting holes. The first worm rod is inserted in the base and has a rotation driving hole exposed on the bottom surface of the bottom beam, enabling a hand tool to be engaged with the rotation driving hole to drive the first worm rod. The second worm rod is inserted in the base, engaged with the first worm rod, and fastened to bottom ends of first and second longitudinal strings of a ladder cord. Therefore, rotating the first worm rod makes the second worm rod engaged therewith wind the first and second longitudinal strings, thereby adjusting the total length of the ladder cord.

    Abstract: A retaining sheet is used for retaining to a slat of a venetian blind. The slat has a through hole for penetration of a lifting cord. The retaining sheet includes a main body with an upper surface, a lower surface, a hole, and a slot. The hole and the slot pass through the upper and bottom surfaces of the main body and communicate with each other. The width of the slot is smaller than the width of the hole, wherein the main body is configured when the retaining sheet is retained to the slat of the venetian blind, the hole of the main body corresponds to the through hole of the slat, and the lifting cord is penetrated through the hole and inserted into the slot when pulled by an external force. This can prevent the lifting cord from being drawn out for enhancing the safety of use.

    Abstract: Floating-point numbers are compressed for neural network computations. A compressor receives multiple operands, each operand having a floating-point representation of a sign bit, an exponent, and a fraction. The compressor re-orders the operands into a first sequence of consecutive sign bits, a second sequence of consecutive exponents, and a third sequence of consecutive fractions. The compressor then compresses the first sequence, the second sequence, and the third sequence to remove at least duplicate exponents. As a result, the compressor can losslessly generate a compressed data sequence.

    Abstract: A window curtain includes a headrail and a covering structure. The covering structure is positioned under the headrail and has a ladder tape and a plurality of slats. The ladder tape has two vertical cords and a plurality of traverse cords connected between the vertical cords and arranged in an equally-spaced manner along the vertical cords. The slats are held by the traverse cords in a one-to-one manner so as to be tilted by the ladder tape for providing a light-blocking effect. When the slats are tilted, a part of a topmost slat is covered by the light-blocking portion of the headrail to solve the problem of light leakage.
