    Abstract: Computing device state or activity based task reminders and automatic tracking of statuses of task-related activities are provided. Users are enabled to create reminders that are triggered based on a device state of the user’s device or activity signals from the operating system, an application, or a user file. The status of a task item can be inferred from signals collected from one or more sources. The signals provide information associated with tasks that the user performs in various life events. Machine learning, statistical analysis, behavioral analytics, and data mining techniques are applied to the signals, and the user’s activities are mapped to task items that the user has created. An inferred status of a task activity can be shared with other systems, or can be used for a variety of functions (e.g., to automatically update the user’s task list, or to remind the user of an uncompleted task item).

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for saving power in a Universal Serial Bus (USB) repeater/re-timer between a USB host and a peripheral device by intercepting packets received from the host to predict the direction of data traffic to selectively turn off/on circuitry of a peripheral port used to receive packets from the peripheral device. If a host port determines that the host is sending a start-of-frame (SOF) packet, the direction of data flow is from the host to the peripheral device, and the repeater may turn off the peripheral port such as squelch circuitry. If the host port determines that the host is sending a non-SOF packet, such as an address token that precedes a host-to-peripheral-device data transfer or a peripheral-device-to-host data transfer, the direction of data flow is anticipated to be from the peripheral device to the host, and the repeater may re-enable the deactivated circuitry of the peripheral port.

    Abstract: A method and/or system for automated detection and automated remediation of anomalies in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) environment is disclosed. The method comprises auto discovering resources (RPA components and its dependencies) in an RPA platform. The discovered resources are monitored though observation metrics whose values are obtained by executing pre-defined scripts. The obtained values are validated against threshold values to determine if there are any anomalies, wherein the threshold values may either be static values or dynamic values. If there is a breach of threshold, a remediation plan is automatically executed causing the remediation of anomalies. The system is trained to determine the dynamic threshold values through machine learning models which are developed and trained through metrics data and by determining error patterns from the historic unstructured log data.
