  • Publication number: 20240152341
Abstract: A system and method for creating a performance-optimized server image. The method includes receiving logs that include performance information of one or more servers of a first type. Current values for performance parameters of the one or more servers are determined based on the logs. Optimal value ranges for the performance parameters are determined. In response to determining that, for at least one performance parameter, a current value is outside a respective optimal value range, incremental changes are determined. The incremental changes are applied to a latest version of a server image of the first type to create a new version of the server image. New values for the performance parameters are determined. In response to determining that, for each performance parameter, a new value is within a respective optimal value range, the new version of the server image is validated as a performance-optimized version of the server image.

  • Publication number: 20240143899
Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for the conversion of documents to reusable content types are disclosed herein. Embodiments may extract the content and metadata of the original document and identify a set of reusable resources from the content and metadata. These reusable resources can each be one of a set of content types common across a plurality of document authoring platforms. Each of the content types may be represented using a content type object associated with that content type. The reusable resources identified by the parsing of the content and metadata of the original document may thus be represented with corresponding reusable objects in a content type format common to a plurality of document authoring tools.

  • Patent number: 11970045
Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments for providing temperature control for to a temperature-controlled storage compartment in a tunnel of a vehicle. The tunnel extends from a first side of the vehicle, such as the passenger side, to a second side of the vehicle, such as the driver side. The vehicle also includes a refrigeration module that is moveable on a shuttle of the tunnel. The refrigeration module includes a temperature-controlled storage unit configured to open and close in accordance with a path defined by an accessibility assembly. The shuttle transfers power from a power source, such as a battery, to the temperature-controlled storage unit, for example, to provide temperature control even when the vehicle is powered off. Accordingly, the refrigeration module provides a space-efficient system for ensuring prolonged temperature control of items stored in the temperature-controlled storage unit.

  • Publication number: 20240102547
Abstract: A high speed gear box including ribs, gears with holes, and oil channels configured to divide and distribute lubricating oil and contacting the lubricating oil with a high speed gear box housing wall. The high speed gear box housing and gear box cover have lubricating oil channel which supply lubricants to bearings. Output gears have holes which circulate oil throughout the high speed gear box. As lubricating oil is continuously circulated at locations which may create friction, the thermal energy, which is generated by high speed rotation of gears, shafts, and bearings is absorbed by cooling oil and transferred to housings, latent heat is dissipated to atmosphere through housing wall. This solves the overheating problem of electric high speed gear box.

  • Patent number: 11915062
Abstract: A tool may provide a real-time analysis of potential bottlenecks while threads wait on locks held by other threads. For each job currently operating on the server instance, the tool may access a list of threads and retrieve call stacks associated with those threads. The call stacks may then be analyzed to identify threads that are holding a lock, along with any corresponding threads that are waiting on the lock. The locks may be held on memory resources or any other type of computing resource. These bottlenecks may be identified and an adjustment of the configuration of the server instance may be triggered in response that is configured to reduce the likelihood that these types of bottlenecks may occur in the future.

  • Publication number: 20240053541
Abstract: An arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) can have a reusable delay line, a plurality of coupling devices, and a free propagation region (FPR). The delay line can have a continuous first waveguide connected to receive a plurality of wavelengths. Each coupling device can have a second waveguide coupled to a respective portion of the continuous first waveguide. The FPR can have input and output ends. The input end of the FPR can be coupled to receive the radiation from each of the coupling devices. The radiation can be directed to spatially-separated output channels based on wavelength at the output end of the FPR. The plurality of coupling devices and the delay line are configured to control power and phase distributions of the radiation transmitted to the FPR.

  • Publication number: 20240038224
Abstract: Accuracy of transcript is of foremost importance in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR). State of the art system mostly rely on spelling correction based contextual improvement in ASR, which is generally a static vocabulary based biasing approach. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and system for visual context aware ASR. The method provides biasing using shallow fusion biasing approach with a modified beam search decoding technique, which introduces a non-greedy pruning strategy to allow biasing at the sub-word level. The biasing algorithm brings in the visual context of the robot to the speech recognizer based on a dynamic biasing vocabulary, improving the transcription accuracy. The dynamic biasing vocabulary, comprising objects in a current environment accompanied by their self and relational attributes, is generated using a bias prediction network that explicitly adds label to objects, which are detected and captioned via a state of the art dense image captioning network.
