    Abstract: The embodiments of present disclosure herein address unresolved problem of cognitive navigation strategies for a telepresence robotic system. This includes giving instruction remotely over network to go to a point in an indoor space, to go an area, to go to an object. Also, human robot interaction to give and understand interaction is not integrated in a common telepresence framework. The embodiments herein provide a telepresence robotic system empowered with a smart navigation which is based on in situ intelligent visual semantic mapping of the live scene captured by a robot. It further presents an edge-centric software architecture of a teledrive comprising a speech recognition based HRI, a navigation module and a real-time WebRTC based communication framework that holds the entire telepresence robotic system together. Additionally, the disclosure provides a robot independent API calls via device driver ROS, making the offering hardware independent and capable of running in any robot.

The system further includes a remote computing system configured to send an alert indicating that the refrigeration system needs servicing when the temperature of the food compartment of the refrigeration system is determined to be above a predetermined temperature while: the door of the refrigeration system is closed, the amount of power consumed by the refrigeration system is within a predetermined power range, and acoustic signals of the compressor of the refrigeration system are within a predetermined acoustic range.

    Abstract: Threads and kernels across multiple server instances may maintain static connections to a database during operation. To apply a patch or other upgrade to the database, a notification may be sent to the database system that causes the database system to redirect new incoming connection requests for the database to a backup database. A second notification may also be sent to each of the server instances where threads maintain active connections to the database. These threads may be allowed to finish executing a current job, then when entering the idle state these threads may be directed to refresh their connections. This refresh operation may be redirected to the backup database. The patch may be applied after all connections have been switched to the backup database. This process switches static connections to the backup database as quickly as possible without interrupting existing thread operations.

The fault can be a biased fault injection that can mimic an error caused by a physical circuit event error vulnerability.     Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system (110) for retrofitting words represented using the vectors for Natural Language Processing (NLP) models and a streamlined process which is an ideal pipeline for any NLP tasks. The system (110) may discover the user meta data or k-nuggets in five stages for retrofitting and stacking the retrofitted embeddings. Further, the system (110) may use the retrofitted embeddings for NLP Tasks. The five stages of the k-nugget discovery pipeline are Lexical, Syntactic, Semantic, transactional, and language agnostic stages for retrofitting the word embeddings. The proposed embedding layer is replaced with the retrofitted embedding which may be obtained after the fifth stage and improved performance can be achieved. To validate the approach, the K-nugget discovery pipeline has been tested on the SemEval (Hinglish and English Tweet dataset) and HOT dataset (Hinglish Tweet dataset) and to achieve state of the art results on the test dataset.
