  • Publication number: 20240196346
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In an example, a method includes a first node receiving a precision time protocol (PTP) message, identifying one or more timing domains to be supported by the first node based at least in part on the PTP message, and sending, to a second node of the wireless communication network, an indicator of the one or more timing domains to be supported by the first node. Another example at a node includes receiving, from additional nodes of the wireless communication network, indicators of one or more timing domains supported by the additional nodes, receiving a PTP message associated with a timing domain, and sending the PTP message to a subset of the additional nodes based at least in a part on the indicators of one or more timing domains supported by the additional nodes.

  • Publication number: 20240193413
Abstract: An apparatus and method for efficiently creating less computationally intensive nodes for a neural network. In various implementations, a computing system includes a memory that stores multiple input data values for training a neural network, and a processor. Rather than determine a bit width P of an integer accumulator of a node of the neural network based on bit widths of the input data values and corresponding weight values, the processor selects the bit width P during training. The processor adjusts the magnitudes of the weight values during iterative stages of training the node such that an L1 norm value of the weight values of the node does not exceed a corresponding weight magnitude limit.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for receiving labelled data from data sources; generating a plurality of segments from the labelled data using tokenizers, wherein each of the segments is associated with one or more classes, and wherein the plurality of segments comprises a sub-plurality of unique segments; calculating an entropy value for each of the sub-plurality of unique segments; for each class, generating one or more rules based on each of the segments associated with the class and the entropy value of each such segment; and combining the generated one or more rules with a model to improve prediction performance of the model. The labelled data is input data for a classifier model to form predictions and false positives are extracted from the predictions. The model explainability techniques and the false positives are used to create additional rule.

  • Publication number: 20240193475
Abstract: Simulation data associated with a simulation test performed with respect to a first set of training data is obtained. Responsive to a determination that the obtained simulation data satisfies one or more criteria, a second set of training data is obtained, where a size of the second set of training data meets or exceeds a size of the first set of training data. A machine learning model is trained using the second set of training data.

  • Publication number: 20240193365
Abstract: The present teaching relates to extracting insightful phrases from an input text. Independent contexts are first identified from the input text. With respect to each independent context, initial candidate phrases are generated with respect to linguistic features and are then filtered. Various features are then computed for each filtered candidate phrase and used to select top k candidate phrases for each independent context. A most insightful phrase is then selected from the k top candidate phrases using deep learned models. Such selected most insightful phrases for the independent contexts are then used for facilitating an understanding the input text.

  • Patent number: 12010758
Abstract: A network function selectively supports a mobile device with network settings appropriate for the device context of the mobile device. The network function obtains a device profile for the mobile device, which identifies multiple device groups, with each device group being associated with a corresponding set of network settings. The network function selects a device group among the device groups in the device profile based on a device context of the mobile device. Responsive to a notification of the mobile device in a different device context, the network function supports the mobile device with a different set of network settings that cause a Session Management Function (SMF) to reconfigure the user plane for the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 12007823
Abstract: A power-management scheme where when a system-on-chip (SoC) is in an active state, control and monitoring logic or circuitry turns off all wake logic or circuits for various associated intellectual property (IP) blocks. Based on user defined operating system power manager (OSPM) policies, OSPM kicks off an interrupt to the control and monitoring logic or circuitry to turn off or power gate the wake logic for individual IP blocks in the SoC. As such, wake logic that are idle in active state (e.g., S0 state) and would otherwise draw power in the S0 state are now turned off, thus saving power and/or extending battery life for the system. When the SoC is in a low power state, then the control and monitoring logic or circuitry selectively turns on the wake logic for the associated IP blocks based on detected user presence for the computing system having the SoC.

  • Patent number: 12005737
Abstract: State of the art track width adjustment mechanism fail to support track width adjustment while vehicle is in motion. They also require manual intervention, which causes inconvenience. The disclosure herein generally relates to wheel track adjustment, and, more particularly, to a changeable wheel track mechanism for track width adjustment (referred to as TWA mechanism). The TWA mechanism includes a steer and drive unit, a plurality of links, and a sliding unit. The TWA mechanism allows movement of a wheel in inward and outward directions, causing the track width adjustment. The track width is achieved by changing the wheel position to be at a wider position, or a narrower position, or any intermediate position. The TWA mechanism may be associated with any vehicle for which the track width adjustment is to be achieved.

  • Patent number: 12008545
Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a field of payment transactions using a card that discloses a computer-implemented method and a system for restricting a transaction while using a payment card. A card processing server may receive card details, a transaction amount, a flag, and signature data of the payment card from a remote terminal upon initiating a transaction using the payment card. Further, the card processing server validates the payment card based on the card details and the signature data of the payment card and thereafter determines a value associated with the flag upon successful validation. The value associated with the flag indicates one of two conditions, e.g., a true condition and a false condition. Based on the condition indicated by the flag, the card processing server performs one of a first action and a second action related to either processing or declining the transaction.

  • Patent number: 12010242
Abstract: To protect the integrity of data stored in a protected area of memory, data in the protected area of memory is retrieved in data blocks and an authentication code is associated with a memory granule contiguously comprising a first data block and a second data block. Calculation of the authentication code comprises a cryptographic calculation based on a first hash value determined from the first data block and a second hash value determined from the second data block. A hash value cache is provided to store hash values determined from data blocks retrieved from the protected area of the memory. When the first data block and its associated authentication code are retrieved from memory, a lookup for the second hash value in the hash value cache is performed, and a verification authentication code is calculated for the memory granule to which that data block belongs. The integrity of the first data block is contingent on the verification authentication code matching the retrieved authentication code.
